Alright time to bring this guy up. I and some in the community too believe this guy is one of the best, maybe the best non-iap artillery general in the game. He has artillery master, arguably the best artillery skill in the game and 2 other great artillery skills. Desert fighting is useless but we can deal with 1 bad skill. The only other non-iap general who has artillery expert is alexander who you can get if you are on a budget or as 2nd artillery.
I heard some of the princess might have artillery expert but we are unsure of their status right now or how they will work.

[br Desert fighting isn’t entirely useless in this game, as you will fight as or against the ottoman empire quite frequently. Its not a desireable skill but I wouldn’t call it useless. I agree, he is the best artillery general in the game, other than napoleon of course. ] |

Mahmud is easily the best artillery general (not iap) of the game. for his skill as an artillery expert

Indeed "desert fighting" is far from being useless in EW6. It is readily available in South America, Asia and Africa, of course. For 1812 1* countries it is almost a "must have" skill  |

But this is interesting didn't knew about this guy and if I'm honest I'm almost a noob as far as skills importance and all this stuff goes.
