This guy is basically Hood, just without Alert. He is cheaper than Hood once you get a 50% discount, but with enough upgrades is capable of anything hood can. However, neither him or hood are recommended, as they don’t have tactics master. Morillo is 50 medals below this guy, but has Lvl 3 line of battle and tactics master. Both him are hood are not really too useful.
However, if you want hood really badly, I suggest you get this guy. Alert isn’t all that great of a skill, and the only real advantage hood has to him is he has lvl 2 line of battle instead of lvl 1. Hood costs 943 Medals at full discount, and after 50%, there is really no really need for a naval general, with the exception of conquest. And Morillo will do his job much better at that. If you want to get Hood, I suggest you get this guy instead.
But they are both awful choices. You can have Tegetthoff at the start, but you need to work hard to get hood. But an upgraded Tegetthoff isn’t much worse than an upgraded hood.

I do not recommend it much. morillo is cheaper than it and it is much better Yeah. But I would still give him 3.5/5 stars, as he is hood jr., and you can get him easily, whereas you have to work hard to get the 50% discount for Hood. He isn’t much worse than hood either, as he has all the good skills hold has, and is even cheaper than Hood’s discounted price. I agree though, there are better options.

I hate this guy. He’s in a port near Venice with 748 hp, 81 def and an ambulance during the Battle of Venice, and you have to kill him to win. He even moved out to the sea to delay me even further when I played that mission.

Here he is in the sequel. Quite stronger, I must say.

Here he is in the sequel. Quite stronger, I must say. Definitely. He can reach the title of King, while he is only Marquees in the prequel. His skills have been modified too: Tegetthoff skills in the prequel: 1 - Line of Battle (additional damages when using ships to attack)2 - Position (increase critical strikes)3 - Helmsman (chances of reducing damages by 50%) His skills in the sequel: 1 - Line of battle (additional damages when using ship to attack)2 - Position (increase critical strikes)3 - Inspiration (chances of morale rise) 4 - Tactic master (chances of attacking twice) So yeah, he loses Helmsman but he gets two very useful skills for a Navy general. Honestly, even with only three skills, he does his job pretty well. Give him the Iron Crown Medal (prevent him from getting on fire), a Telescope and an Ambulance. Remember the pain that this guy was in the Battle of Venice? Well now, it's your turn to be a pain for your opponents.

The Austrian generals in the sequel are much stronger than the prequel. I can’t wait for ET to add them.

The Austrian generals in the sequel are much stronger than the prequel. I can’t wait for ET to add them. There are two Austrian navy generals in the sequel: Tegetthoff and Horthy. Unfortunately, none of them are available in the military school. Like you, I wish ET decided to add at least one of them.
