This is the 4th mission of the French eagle campaign. To win we need to hold the besieged city and capture the 2 HRE cities north of it. We also need to kill the 3 HRE cavalry generals. I used the 3 free generals from the US campaign. I built a grenadier in the bottom city to put Gates on and a light artillery to put Jourdan on at the start.
I focused on building lots of light artillery to help my advance. I moved my troops east to capture the city and kill the HRE cavalry general. Killing the general will give you control of the besieged city and I built a riflemen for Clinton in the besieged city. Build a milita in the besieged city when the unit in the city gets low on HP. I eventually lost the besieged city but it's not a disaster as you can recapture the city.
Once the besiged city is secured and the HRE cavalry generals are dead you just need to move the troops north to help your allies capture the 2 HRE cities to end the mission
