I'm going to post a pic in my next post, desktop mode is way too laggy for me to type the guide out on there.
Second mission of the Eastern Overlord campaign.
Generals used: the 4 free ones plus Kutuzov and Bolivar
Research the Tsar Cannon on round 1 and build one for Kutuzov on round 3. Use your best infantry general on the elite infantry in Donetsk and use Jourdan on the existing heavy artillery.
Now take a look at the pic below. Follow the black attack route and be mindful of the enemy artillery as it has 3 hex range. The target general will advance a bit, try to soften him up or even kill him before you capture the city marked in blue. Upon capturing it, he will sound the retreat and follow the blue route to the back line. This can extend your mission by 5 turns so definitely try to kill him before he gets a move on.
The enemy troops marked in blue will also move across the water after you take the city to attack your ally, simply build a few militia and a light artillery or two to defend.
