This is the 2nd mission in the Holy Roman Empire campaign. Our objectives are to capture Milan, Rome, and Turin. I manage 3 stars using the 4 free generals and Kutuzov. At the start upgrade your northern city and than its farm for a population boost. Eugene will move out of Milan on the 1st turn. Killing him will trigger the French reinforcement so don't attack him. Move your units south to the city between Milan and Rome. The enemy General Balabio will move up. Kill Balabio to cause a double morale from on the Italians and capture the middle city. Split the troops to capture Milan and Rome. I had most of my artillery focus on Rome as it has a lot of city HP. When Rome is captured moved the troops back north. Eventually your ally will kill Eugene, hopefully you will have captured Milan before the French reinforcement stops you. Focus attacks on Massena as when he is killed some of the French troops will suffer a double morale drop. Use the opportunity clear the French units and capture Turin. I had to move some troops past the mountains in the north to get attacks on Turin. The military tactics will be helpful in this mission. Remember to use them and make more. A forced march gave me the movement to capture Milan. Blasts were vital to reduce city HP of Rome and Turin. I mainly built artillery and a little militia. Once I had Milan I built some grenadiers there.
