Nothing special about this guy. Desert fighting is not very good and nothing here makes up for it. Get Greene or Ney instead. 2 star

This guy is bad, but he’s always on a Mamluk Cavalry in conquest. That alone makes him an immortal godsend when playing as the Ottomans.

Here's my opinion on special units Infantry: Dominion Militia - bad Highlander- good Patriotic Army - mediocre Old Guard - great, but expensive and has an annoying tech requirement and means that you can't use Horse Grenadier Guard Redshirt - great, but expensive and has an annoying tech requirement Maxim Gunner - mediocre, expensive and has an annoying tech requirement Cavalry Hungarian Hussar - bad Death's Head Hussar - very good, but kind of expensive Cossack - Pretty much just slightly better heavy cavalry Mamluk Cavalry - extremely strong, but kind of expensive. Horse Grenadier Guard - very strong, but really expensive and annoying to unlock, and means that you can't use Old Guards Tank - very strong, but also very slow and completely infeasible to use in any conquests Artillery Tsar Cannon - strong, but expensive and annoying to unlock. Krupp Cannon - very strong and a bonkers ability (ignore enemy defense), but completely infeasible to use in conquests. Navy Privateer - pretty strong for navy, really fast, but not worth using. Why is this the only special navy unit?

I'd say Death's head Hussars are pretty worth it. Rout has incredible synergy with victory rush and it's got decent enough stats. It's also just a lv 1 tech unlock.
