How to win this battle? I have got Picton , Ney and Grouchy ( not items ). I put Picton in guards on boat, Ney in armored cars and Grouchy in heavy artillery. I pushed all troops to Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore and Richmond except Ney, because I marched him to Cleveland, but when in 18th turn I had all US cities, I got stucked. I only accept 5 star win. Sorry for my English.

A tip for you now: The five star mentality will get you nowhere. If you go through this game only accepting five stars for every mission, you will never reach the end.
As for the guide, put Picton on the guards that are on land. Use Grouchy and Ney the same way you have been using them. Since you have only 3 generals, have everybody attack Washington. Make sure you have only your artillery fight the generals on machine guns as they will do 80-100 damage. And deal with any attacking generals before you capture Washington because the guy in there doesn't move. After you have Washington, have Ney go to Cleveland. If you don't think he can do it by himself, send Picton or Mortier with him. While they do that, the rest of your army goes to the last objective. The Indians aren't a problem as they usually are killed by the US. If you need a more in-depth guide, just ask and I will make one with pictures and details.

Ok, I pushed ALL generals to USA and all normal troops to Cleveland. I won it in 15 turns.

As lord Mountbatten said, if you aim for only 5 stars, you will get stuck for very long unless you have really good generals. I got 3 stars from this mission on my first play through.

5 stars is win of 65 medals (50+15 from stars) it's actually 50 from stars. Extra medals are awarded if you killed a bunch of enemies. If you get only 1 star then you will get 0 medals. 2 stars will get 5 medals etc.

You can always come back and complete it with 5 stars later. And if you sell stars with a max business general, you would get 4 medals for each. that make a 5 star mission yields 70 medals, 50 + 20 from stars (excluding bonus from killing).

Recommended game by my pal. But why put Americans on British side! I though the USA won independence and French supplies received by the Americans. What's the point of this campaign? More like *Auto Corrected*ed gameplay!

More like *Auto Corrected*ed gameplay! The French-American alliance pretty much broke up in 1794. The Quasi-War also made relations worse. Considering the fact that France is expanding with Spain and the US would've wanted Spanish land it's possible that the USS works with GB to fight France and Spain

It is quite obvious that the USA will not take nicely to new neighbours right at their doorstep The Last Stand Soldier,

The Last Stand Soldier, 1) Take out the heavy artillery in Trenton... On the next turn, the Americans will leave it open so feel free to take it 2) Send that light Infantry unit to take the level I city in the west. 3) Pound Philadelphia and move south 4) with Mortier, bombard Cleveland, it should fall in no more that 6 turns if you are careful 5) Take washington, (spam artillery from Trenton) 6) head south to Richmond, keep spamming troops 7) thats all I got 3 stars

However, sell them when you have a 5* trading gen in the market to maximise returns. One option is to hire Arnold or build your own 5* trading princess. The other is to borrow Alexander I in Battle of Austerlitz and send him to Vienna.
