Battle of Ligny is the 6th mission in the birth of the empire campaign. I managed 3 stars using Washington, Kutuzov, Mahmud, Gates, Jourdan, and Clinton
The French will try to split the Prussian and British army by capturing the lvl 2 city with the green circle. If the lvl 2 city is captured by the French than we will suffer a double morale drop. The first part of the mission will be clearing out the French units attacking the lvl 2 city.
We don't need to clear the units attacking the British so we can just leave Ney attacking the British.
If you can take the lvl 3 city in the middle early on it will make this mission a lot easier.
Once the lvl 2 city is safe rush your troops south to take the lvl 4 city. Than we just need to capture the lvl 5 city south-west and the lvl 3 city south-east to end the mission.
