1 Star- Naples
Naples starts off with Murat with a Cavalry Pistol and a tent(like mine) and also a buffer state with Ottoman, Algeria, France and Italy to protect you from the invaders. A really good spot.
You can easily build an army and deploy some generals and attack later. You also can get Bavaria and Italy into the war to take Austria out of the war early.
Lend Leasing the Americans will also cut the turn count by half (mine got killed off by the Canadian Mexican force and I had to invade them for an additional 75 turn war.
For this one, you need to invade Britain and take them out of the war by yourself with little allied help due to Peninsular War. This is to ensure that Normandy isn’t threatened by a British Invading Force.
2 stars - Prussia
Prussia is a very great 1812 country to play as. When handled correctly, you can finish it in around 50 turns.
There’s also Blucher. He’s equipped with an ambulance and a Cavalry Pistol which makes him very useful.
Blucher must stay at the capital until it is not threatened anymore by an invasive force.
You must focus on taking the Polish cities and ignore the other French cities on the west as they can simply spawn generals there. You can retake your northern cities later because capitulating the Polish is the main priority.
Once the Polish is defeated, divide your army. At this point you can deploy your generals into units.
Group 1: Includes an infantry, cavalry and artillery general and its attack route is towards France.
Group 2: Includes infantry general and its attack route is towards Denmark and Norway (possibly to Normandy and Greenland if the Canadians are having a hard time capturing it)
Group 3: Includes what Group 1 has and its attack route is Central Europe. Once Italy is defeated, it splits into two.
Group 3.1: Attacks the Balkans, then Ottoman
Group 3.2: Attacks Naples and Sicily and supports the Algerians
Don’t forget to Lend Lease the Americans if they are having a hard time!
3 stars - USA
USA has artillery generals which is great at taking cities, however they can’t handle a two front war so what I did was:
Retreat forces in the Mexican Border towards the Canadian Front and push through the Canadians as fast and don’t let them join with the Mexicans.
Then as the Northern borders have been annexed, push through the Mexicans with brute force.
If you have enough money to spare, you can lend lease the Algerians, Bavarians, Italians, Naples and the French to take over Prussia, Russia, Austria and Africa.
A Naval Invasion of Portugal and Britain is needed too due to the tough defenders in Iberia. A navy is enough to capture the islands near Iberia and a small invading force that lands in Porto can help too.
By annexing Ireland, you can pave the way for an allied invasion of Britain which will help in finishing the conquest faster.
These 3 countries helped me in getting the rewards. I hope these can help you too!
