I get destroyed by the enemy's submarines and cruisers. I only have one naval gen.

A screenshot might be nice, because it's been a while since I did WC4. I might be able to jog my memory then.

A screenshot might be nice, because it's been a while since I did WC4. I might be able to jog my memory then. I don't know how, but it has 8 placeable units in 5 spots and the enemy has 3 double stacked submarines, a Cruiser, a Cruiser with Terauchi and a carrier with Kondo. I have Nimitz.

To beat this one, I used 3 super battleships, one triple stacked sub and one double stacked cruiser. You should place Nimitz on one if the super battleships and the general with the most hp on another one.
The key to winning comes at the beginning. Make sure your ships fire first. Order of ships you should attack is:
1: subs
2: Kondo
3: other Japanese general
4: Cruiser
You should be able to win with two or three super battleships alive

I did this with early Pacific naval tech and two non-naval generals. A naval gen would help, but is not needed
