Literally what you need for a shot of 3 stars: An Emperor General 4 Good Generals with healing items with a bonus of +50% health Aura buffs like Louise III+ or Generals with aura skills (Infantry is recommended) Tech tree upgrades are British Campaign Legend Red: Enemy attack route Transparent Red: Reinforcements Blue broken lines: Defence position Green: 1st wave of attack Brown: 2nd wave of attack Pinkish Red: 3rd wave of attack Notes: The first wave of attack happens in turn 1, the 2nd at turn 6 and the 3rd at turn 10. You do NOT have to capture the cities. Reinforcements spawn during endgame( turn 11+) It is wise to put 4 generals on an invasion force and two on the other front to avoid being surrounded. Reinforcements include 2-3 cavalry (usually lancers) There is no consequences when one objective is lost but it is important that you do NOT lose Madrid because it is the one that can be easily protected. Attacking the French cities will only result to a more difficult situation.

Side note: On the requirements one at least one is needed because you have to unlock some campaigns and finish some in order to unlock Spanish War overall

What is the overall strategy for this one? Like what generals did you use, plus the placement of your units etc.

What is the overall strategy for this one? Like what generals did you use, plus the placement of your units etc. 3 stars Have good Generals,as you are outnumbered by 3-1. Kill Joseph and Murat, defend Madrid.Try to surround and kill 22 enemy. It becomes a slugfest so good luck! 2 stars Defend Madrid and kill 22 units, should not be hard since you are defending or hold Madrid and kill Murat and Joseph. 1 star Just hold Madrid. Robert Walpole strategy defence line works well.
