( First of all, thanks to Antonio Luna for sharing the strategy and thanks to Nobunaga Oda for quoting me in)
Sorry if my English isn't sufficient enough
The strategy aims to finish within 31 rounds, with 9k gold and food, 2k7-3k wrenches in other to achieve 550 years ruled in asia
This thread is more of a tactical guide rather than a full guide. You can find the full guide of Antonio Luna here: european-war-4.boards.net/post/154544
I will upload the picture to illustrate my movements later on. Stay tuned!
Without further ado, let's get started!
1: For Prevost + Brock front:
First, let Prevost with the 2 light inf squads and 1 light cav squad (in Quebec City and near Sidney) to attack Augusta, then start moving south to take the level 1 factory, while Brock taking out Zebulon and the fort. After that, spawn a single formation gren and Prevost to take the port next to the lv1 factory, then clear the heavy fort in the north, the rest will merge in Brock assault squad to move south. Brock's squad should meet Nelson's squad at the stable just above Washington
2: For Duckworth and his frigates:
Follow the original thread and you will find that if lucky, Verhuell will come to you, so you can start pounding him left and right. If not, raise a 4 frigates squad moving with Duckworth to chase him. After finishing Verhuell, move Duckworth and 1 frigate back to Baltimore to defend, the rest of them go North to help Prevost secure the 2 ports
3: Nelson + Moreau:
a) For Nelson: Following the guide, I used Nelson at FortyYork to trade (if not, Isabella is also a good choice, just the fact that I like Leadership on arti), then move along the Indian- American border to clear any cities in the lane, as Brock and his squad concentrate on controlling the coastline. To escort Nelson to flank is the double formation squad of gren near him. On the way of capturing the USAn cities, it is more likely that Dearborn will come and challenge Nelson's squad. Fear not, some shots and Dearborn will be out of the picture. Then, capture the stable. At this time, this squad should meet Brock's squad. Then march forward together, split some single line troops to take Yorktown (the lv2 city below Baltimore), while the rest concentrate their firepower in Washington. After that, Brock, Nelson and their arms should march together Westward to mop up any remaining cities.
b)For Moreau: Because I put Sophia on the substitution bench , I use Moreau on this front by assigning him to the single heavy art near Detroit. Use the gren to escort him, first, take out Perignon city and the French tavern city, kill both Perignon and Hull first, then Jourdan. Spawn militia to hold cities if needed. Then, let the gren squad wait for Elphinstone and his escort frigate to come and help taking Fortdearborn and kill Cosmao, while Moreau and the rest move south to finish off Claude, any Frenchies left on the way and flank the lower American front from the left, combing with Nelson and Brock's gangs to form a pincer attack. ( Note if the French takes some Spanish cities, do not move Moreau there as the cavalry gen you will assign near upper russian front will clear it.)
4: Golitsyn + Drummond:
Well, at this front, follow the original thread. It should be pretty easy to clear this front. If your cav gen (I used Golitsyn) is strong enough, assign him to the heavy cav from the start and attack Barclays straight away. I think it should be pretty fast to take care of him, then concentrate on capturing any Russian cities on the way.
Then, rush to Spain to help clearing of any remnants of the French, Ruskies and USAns.
5:Elphinstone:
Drag him along the river, then capture the port near FortDearborn, kill Cosmao and the arti guarding the factory there and finally, use the gren squad that you have splitted from Moreau's gang to capture it.
NOTE:
Spam mostly militia to save the wrenches, so that at the end you have enough for the requirements
Upgrade cities and factories till turn 17 to get the pay-off from those
Check if the food : gold ratio is 1 : 1. If not, trade food for gold to the 1:1 ratio (roughly)
Mobility is key in this conquest, so 2x Warhorse are needed for the arties to move around and support the other squad taking different objectives
The reason I merged Brock into Prevost squad initially is to prevent an incoming attack from Sebastiani. He will pose many troubles to your squad without Brock assist. Putting him in simply solve any threats from delaying many rounds to kill this clown.
I did all my 4 squad within just 26 rounds, but I forgot that I havent captured Fortdearborn, so I had to wait to turn 31 to finish the game and get the precious Lan.
Hope you guys find these tips helpful and I wish you best luck on the battlefield
