Hello, it feels like the stone age since ive actually been on here, but Im back baby! Time to see what little I remember about this after my HOI4 Modding hiatus.
Okay, so I recently got WC4 on my phone and I was pretty excited because i'd played it before briefly and I remembered the decent gameplay and new cities=territory concept. One thing I'm extremely dissatisfied with however, is the balance and attacks of certain troops. I love that subs can't be hit now while attacking, which makes so much more sense, but why should they do such minimal damage?! Why are heavy tanks practically useless and why, why, why, why can you still just spam artillery and easily win the game. Its fairly illogical and ridiculous. So, I'm going to work on fixing these fallacies with a balance mod which seems pretty tame, but I guess if it works better my files can also be used in other mods which I'm totally okay with. If anyone would like to help me on this project, please let me know since I pretty much don't remember anything about this! Huzzah!

I believe such a mod wouldn’t sell well, as competitions like Great Patriotic War Mod is definitely more attractive. If you’re interested though, send me a PM for an invite to a Modding Discord Server and we may be able to help you.

I believe such a mod wouldn’t sell well, as competitions like Great Patriotic War Mod is definitely more attractive. This mod is more of a framework for balancing that other mods could use, if you see what Im saying. I dont care about making it attractive, merely more realistic and playable.

You should also balance the first conquest,i think it would be much more fair if italy,spain and rommania had less units so they stop steamrolling everyone instead of germany

Unit spam is a problem in the conquest with the axis. Making them more expensive will prevent lots of paraspam and artillery spamming from germany and Japan, the games biggest culprits of that. I also might modify how many turns it takes for certain units to build, like super tanks, in order to make that more fair, realistic and unspammy. Thanks for your suggestion! Thats a huge annoyance in that game.

Wilhuff Tarkin , I suggest you to add different units for each main countries (Ussr, Germany, Usa, Uk, France, Italy, Japan) like we did in The Great Patriotic War. Example make German tanks more expensive but have more attack meanwhile make Soviet tanks cheaper and more reliable, give Usa tanks more mobility etc. this is just a suggestion

P.S, japanese subs will suck, just like in real life while the United States and Germany have excellent subs. Ill also be changing some areas of the map to make the Netherlands own Indonesia or, make them a separate country as a part of the allies. Maybe the same with Manchuria. China will have a bit of rework too as I'll see if i can add most of the warlords and such. If you have any other suggestions please say!

I like the Warlords idea but then you have to add generals for each Chinese Warlords. U can give Belgium to the city east of Yaounde. U can make Finnish commando have more defense and attack. U can give Usa both Super Carrier and Super Battleship (Because Usa is the best naval power in the world), u can increase tech cost of nuclear weapons and increase damage of nuclear weapons. And make Chicago city bigger as same as San Francisco and Los Angeles. Conquering Usa shouldn't be that easy I think. Will you add more cities to each conquest ?
