I have 3 general slots filled up, and about to get my fourth, but I was just wondering, if I fill up all 4 slots (not gonna buy another) will I still be able to buy regrouping generals to regroup?

slyncy , when you have all the 4 slots filled, you cant buy more generals.

Ok. So, I guese I will regroup my generals to respective troop 5* before I get the last slot

If you can scrape up the money, opening the slots gives you more flexibility than you can possibly imagine. I resisted this for the longest time and then gave in; it makes things much easier, and you're spending a pittance for something which gives a lasting benefit for the life of the game.
