Hi,
The EFC community has a very large number of guides and game help for all kind of players. Our modding community is fairly active but don't expect miracles: modding is time consuming and ressources intensive. It is mostly a solo enterprise (meaning you have to do most of the work yourself). This is why the great majority of new mods never get finished, it's just tough to see them through unless the primary modder himself is fairly skilled and most importantly very patient.
Modders have their own projects and so they might not have time to help others or they might not be willing to take the time to answer others if they think their project won't work or won't get finished (which is often the case with new mods). Modders might also be in competition with each other and might choose to withhold help for a certain amount of time. Also some modders prefer to chat with only a restricted number of other accomplished modders rather than be bombarded with questions from the general population, there is nothing wrong with any of that, that's their choice.
Some modders seem to prefer to be only active in the [Engineer group] and interact with other modders that have published a mod already. Acceptance in the group is by invite only, so the existing Engineers have to invite you in.
