Has anyone else tried completing a conquest as Poland? I haven’t had much success in my runs, as my generals are not high level and cannot tank, which means as i get declared on the spam kills me no matter what.
If anyone has some advice or insight I’d appreciate it, I would like to complete a Poland run in the future.

If anyone has some advice or insight I’d appreciate it, I would like to complete a Poland run in the future. I won Poland 1798 with no gens. Tech lvl is early 1812 or late Ottoman Campaign tech. Pre-Prussia: - Invade Krakow then the lvl 1 HRE city to the east of Krakow with all you have. - Send resources to get the Papal States (Italy) to get it to join earlier, immediately wage war on Portugal and Sardinia. - Prepare some troops at the border to enter Prussian territory and try to surround the southernmost lvl 2 Prussian city 1 turn before Prussia joins the war. (This is the most feasible city to attack because you will have no income to attack the northern lvl 2 Prussian city anyways. Post-Prussia: - Quickly attack and seize this city, preventing Scharnhorst from deploying in this city. - Use militia to defend cities under direct threat. - If the enemy ignores your other troops in HRE, try to use these troops to take the weak cities in the HRE. - Prepare to build some forts, because you will need them to fight Russia.  Post-Russia: - Withstand a great siege of your cities, similar to Poland in 1939. - Try to use weakened troops to flank enemies, so that you can demoralize them and reduce their atk. - HOLD OUT until France and your allies can reinforce you! They will also defeat your major enemies HRE, Prussia and some Russians as well!  The tide has turned!  Proof of no gens used. I did Poland, on the second, and first conquest. what you want to do is take as much land as possible, before Russia attacks, like take Austria out first. use dabrowksi and artillery to quick take cities.
