Any good strategies that work for Rhine? I always die after Austria enters the war.

You need strong generals, good items (ambulances) and strong technology Before Austria enter in the war build 2 Granadiers for your infantry generals, Put your Artillery general in the heavy artillery in the start. Build other heavy artillery and put other generals in this unit. Destroy Scharhornst. And after move all your troops near Prague- When Austria enters in the war, Use the tactic poison against karl and attack with all. Defend against the Austrian Enemys and capture the Prussian city in the North (in the start Scharnhorst is in this city) In the south spam militias for protect this town. And now you have the initiative of the war in the north against Austria in the north.

Reinhard Von Lohengramm's strategy can work. By taking Prague, you have a springboard from which you can invade Northern Austria and Southern Prussia. For me, I used no gens but I have arguably very high tech lvls. I tried a foolish attempt to hold a captured lvl 2 Austrian city in Northern Austria. Although it fell to the Coalition after about 6 turns of resistance, it did help to temporarily increase income while distracting enemy forces. This^^ move is NOT recommended UNLESS you have very powerful gens and can use it to launch a two front attack on Prague. Then,I used militia and held out for 20++ turns. I did not lose any cities, but my allies were losing badly across the map. With every minor victory, the tide slowly turned in our favour (fall of Prussia, Recapture of the Netherlands, French success in the Appennine Peninsula, etc.) By about turn 20, the tide is beginning to shift so I started to donate remaining resources after spawning 2 militia per turn. At this stage;, I'm just defending my starting territories against an Austrian (and minor Prussian) onslaught. By turn 24-25, I could capture Vienna, and aid in the siege and capture of Prague. Now, is the time to counterattack! Seize Austria's starting territory, assist your allies and liberate your allies' lost cities in the Balkans and Eastern Europe! Proof of no gens used.
