This can be a useful thread imo. Im only in medieval age so people on this forum can suggest generals. Infantry: Classical is Ceasar Medieval is either richard or barb Empire is  Discovery is Gunpowder is Lincoln? Industrial is Cavalry: Classical is Attila Medieval is Empire is Ghengis khan Discovery is Gunpowder is Blücher? Industrial is Archer: Classical is Medieval is Moctezuma Empire is Nobunaga Discovery is Gunpowder is Washington Industrial is Pétain Artillery: Classical is Medieval is Li Shimin Empire is Discovery is Gunpowder is Napoleon Industrial is If you think something's wrong tell me. |

Washington and Napoleon are actually discovery age not gunpowder. And Lincoln is also discovery, but he isn’t very good. Funnily enough, in gowper age you get gatling guns and mortars instead, but I see how you could have gotten confused. For discovery, you unlock generals such as Peter in discovery. In gunpowder age, I don’t remember unlocking any infantry generals at all. But for industrial and gunpowder, I could give you a couple recommendations Gunpowder Archer : Horatio Nelson Industrial Archer : Li Hongzang Gunpowder infantry: n/a Industrial infantry: Petain Gunpowder Cavarly: Blucher Industrial Cavarly: n/a Gunpowder Artillery: Bismarck or Heihachiro Industrial Artillery: n/a |
