Help me i have vatutin on a super heavy tank, yamashita on a 4 stack motorised infantry and konev on a super rocket, and I used all my super tanks, super rockets, rockets, heavy and medium tanks but they got all brutally wiped out after I captured the closest 2 cities. Does anyone have a guide on how I can clear this as I'm really stuck and can't get any more medals to get better generals or upgrades(played everything and unlocked all achievements) so dont advise me to get more gens haha. This is my only ticket out of the option of cashing in this game, so I'm pretty desperate as a f2p player out of options.

I need a screenshot to work with.
For now, all I can say is to ensure Konev has at least lvl 3 Rumour. Also, use some 3X Heavy or 1X super arty and tanks to defend the city, then quickly invade the cities from east to west. Coordinate your attacks and do not use defenders in Stalingrad to attack gens (ESPECIALLY Manstein). Definitely DO NOT use inf to make up a bulk of your army, the Germans are mainly tank gens on a Heavy tank, meaning that they can easily shred through inf. Use 3X heavy or 1X super arty and tanks instead.
Recommended tech: 75% chance Assault and the first Firepower upgrade for RA and other arty. Recommended inf unit for Yamadhita: 4X Mechanised inf, because he can take down cities very quickly so that you can swing around and catch Manstein in a pincer attack.

Ooh ok sure take your time Im on the same one rn. Good news! I have just beaten this Domination Battle! Bad news! It's more or less as bloody as the IRL battle. Here's the guide: Your main goal is to hold out against 4 waves of enemies and try to recapture some lost Soviet territory. Preferably also try to capture the German airfield. My method: Prepare your weaker gens to lead a army against Leeb's city. Meanwhile, strongest tank gen + 1 strong arty gen will remain around Stalingrad. Against wave 1 (Leeb's attack), try to use RA, howitzer and other forces you have to your north to smash through Leeb's forces and lay siege to the northern city. By about turn 6-8, Kesselring will attack, reducing enemy air attack strength. (Wave 2) You MUST capture the northern city by now and try to build bunkers to protect your northern group. Your move: Seek to use your new territory as a way to bombard the enemy with arty and heavy tanks on a greater scale. Try to take the city with the airfield if possible so that the enemy cannot bomb you. (I failed here but I managed to lure the spawned defenders away and kill them. By turn 10-12, Rundstedt's amphibious troops will attempt a landing with cruiser cover. (Wave 3) If possible, try to use your spare Stalingrad RA and heavy tanks to dmg or kill them. However, do not let your men be destroyed by Manstein or the cruisers just because you want to sink Rundstedt's forces at sea. Last stand time! Manstein will lead the remaining Germans on a final desperate assault on Stalingrad, hold out at all costs! For the Motherland!!! By now, your tank gen would've or is close to dying. If possible, let him be killed by Manstein on your turn so that you can spawn defenders to prevent enemy from sending paratroopers into Stalingrad (if you haven't seized the enemy airfield yet). Use gens with Rumour to quickly disable Manstein so that you can kill him quickly, then block the possible routes to Stalingrad with forts or bodies of your men. Congratulations, you have won the bloodiest and largest battle in human history as of typing this!

Another way which is possibly less bloody but more difficult to execute is to pull off Marshal Pétain's Verdun like manoeuvres.
Pull the badly wounded back to the rear while sending in fresh troops to hold the city. In such a case, you are less likely to incur casualties but your northern flank will be more vulnerable if not defended well.
Even here, I think you should keep your best tank gen entrenched in Stalingrad so that your army is unlikely to break.

i see ill get vatutin and konev in stalingrad while i put yamashita on a tank with kuznestov on a howitzer to attack the northern cities. Thanks friend however, to win do you have to take every german city? I kind of forgot as I was stuck on this for awhile

oh wait how silly of me haha its to hold the ground, thx Yep, it's like Hold the Ground but more bloody and using player's Domination troops. You can also win if you capture all enemy cities, defeat all enemy units and destroy all enemy forts. However, I don't think all of us have the strength right now (I just opened up CWE with Messe, Konev and Leeb as gens, most tech are underdeveloped) to do so.

You can rotate troops that are wounded,i did this with Leeb and Vatutin a good while ago,the trick its to not lose Stalingrad and just build to block the enemy way, have reserve units behind your lines to replace the critically wounded ones, get a mixed group on both sides of arty and tanks,i had SH tanks by at the moment and took 0 casualties for this, just an spawned Medium tank

oh i see will do a claw then, where I defend stalingrad but capture the closest north city as Nobunaga Oda, mentioned, and then rush down on the southern city to surround their weak invading troops

My method was just taking advantage of the USSR having super rocket artillery and super heavy tank to build a wall.I lost 2 super heavy and 3 super rocket artillery in that battle.

I wasnt really able to find domination mode when i started the game. So once i managed to find it i was kind of on a way better level than you should be at that point. But some sort of general tactic is have Guderian ASP. Without him this game doesnt make much sense lol. Try to upgrade rumor on generals you can put it on as soon as you can. Lvl 3-4 is usually enough. Concatrate your troops on one flank and dont attack on multiple fronts. Usually if you send your worse units to fight on any front they get killed instantly. So its better to put your generals in front so they can take a beating and your weaker units as support. And ofc concantrate your units on just one side so you dont loose on your attack/defense
This tips worked for me so far and im stuck on battle of korea which is rather close to the end.
