I'm stuck on infantry 21, tank 29, navy 30 for last 3 weeks or more.(solved all art &air)
chances 17 to 20%, trying 4-5/day, no use.
my HQ is Govorov, Guderian, Patton, Yamamoto. plan was get Konev next, then up ECs. now what? to buy unnecessary ones just for missions? if so, which ones? (5 cheap ones vs 3 best). what was your solution?

I don’t think cheap, low-quality generals would worth, at least before you’ve finished all campaigns, challenges, and conquests. Which I guess you have not completed all of them yet based on your generals.
Keep going with your current idea. Konev, then maybe Rommel or Vatutin. For missions, you will have at least three 5* tanks, three 3+* infantry. If you still need some, Nasser, Sokolovsky, Tito, and Wingate for infantry. Meyer, Dumitrescu, Auchinleck, and Manteuffel for tank. Isakov, Koga, Ozawa(really good! even fine for some easier campaigns), and Pound for navy.

ok, thanks. normal conquests and campaigns all done, all except aliens that is. most of it done with first two  don't need generals for conquests really. yeah...instead buying more generals, was thinking to develop ECs. for now they are at 3* in their specialty, plus few level 1 skills...working on it atm. and since you can't have more than 6, with my ECs done, who needs Rommel and such, right? but...thing with missions is, i want another source of medals, heard of orange missions that appear when you solve red/purple ones? but while my ECs will basically be just like any of the top ones, some missions would maybe be easier with skills that we usually avoid, like mountain fight, camo, oil expert, etc? now, from wonders I'm getting ~300 medals/day, so buying few cheap generals is no big deal. but buying top ones would set me back for weeks :/ |

update:
Konev was enough help to get tank #29 one, Ozawa made navy #30.
only infantry missions to go now, must check required skills for them to see who would be best fit.

was that from old/different version?
