I'm preparing for 1975 and have List, Raeder, Rundstedt, Rommel, and Weichs. Are these good choices or do I need to get a new one, such as Guderian or Konev?

Replace List with Guderian and Weichs with Konev. Keep Raeder for navy missions, but he should also be replaced if you're planning on using navy gens. |

I can't currently afford him, should I sell Rommel and/or Rundstedt to get him?

no. imho, don't rush to aliens. try solving everything else, get all wonders and upgrades. you need top team, true. but also top tech and income. another thing is, your ECs can be better than anything in game, but it costs about 10k medals per general. i'd keep current team and see how far it can take me. consider changes only and when you're absolutely certain you've hit the wall. ------------------- here's why i think so after about 70 days of playing, my current situation is: campaign map  wonders  HQ  average EC  tech  all non-alien campaigns, conquests and most of challenges done. only 2 missions to do. all wanted wonders done. but main thing, i think my HQ is wee bit better than yours, and i still have no chance vs aliens. unless your tech is far better, id say you are not there yet. |

So I've revised my team, and now I have Ozawa, Gorovov, Rundstedt, and Rommel. Rommel has ace forces so he will be the goat in campaigns. Guderian’s damage and survivability is the best out of everyone in wc3, hence why he is very highly recomended. I would not sell anyone on your team, but I would go after him next. Govorov is really good. Rundstendt isn’t the best but also isn’t too bad but mountain’s are hard to use (I used Sun Lr personally as he was a good hybrid as well). Ozawa is good. You can get fletcher to accompany him as his output is really high for his price. |
