I did alot of mission grinding today and now have 2160 medals. Should I get a great artillery general or air force general like Goering? Which do you think has a bigger impact?(I have Guderian and 3 basic eye covered generals)

Govorov. You should be in Cold War era now, Goring as an air force general is not very necessary.

Because there isn't a perfect artillery general in WC3 except making a commender. Govorov has the highest output in artillery generals. If you care about movement more, try Bai C.X. or Konev. Although both of them don't have high output.

Well here's the run down like eternalaurora said
Govorov is the best in terms of everything except speed
If you want speed then konev can be good
If you want a konev with speed get Badoglio he is cheap and the second best cannon general the game has
Hope you'll find our help useful..
