Hi all,
below you can find some guidelines specifically for the WC4 boards.
Of course community rules apply which can be found pinned in every board on this forum.
WC4 consists of 3 boards, used for the following:
*The way of the Emperor:
for questions and posts inside a fight, with fight being: in a campaign/conquest etc.
--> Campaigns
--> Missions
--> Conquests
--> Battle tactics
--> Challenges
--> Et cetera
*The way of the Strategist:
for questions and posts outside a fight, meaning generals, landmarks etc.
--> Land Marks
--> Generals
--> Wonders
--> Technology Tree
--> Et cetera
*General Chain of Command:
for general questions not fitting in a board above, game news/bugs etc.
--> State of the game
--> Game news
--> Competitions
--> Bugs
--> Et cetera
With that being said the following additional rules apply (Nothing special, mostly forum etiquette):
1. Posts must always be on-topic, no de-railing.
Also applies to the original poster, if you have a different question, please start a new thread for that
Posts inside a thread should help the questioner with his question. Even after the question is dealt with, you can't go off-topic, please start a new thread.
2. Threads must consist of 1 questions only. (forum etiquette, less strictly)
Less stricter rule. But if you have multiple questions, it's easier to understand/answer them if they are in separate threads.
Especially considering other players who have the same question will have an easier time finding it.
3. Threads should always concern WC4.
Pretty obvious. If for instance, a new Easytech game releases, please create a thread in the Officer's Lounge.
Also if you compare Easytech games you might be better off in the polls' and presentations board.
4. Don't start a thread for a campaign that already has a thread.
You can find guides in the Library. If there's already a thread for your campaign you can view a guide there.
If this guide doesn't work out for you, please ask a question inside that thread, since then we have everything for that campaign nicely in the same thread which helps for future references. If your campaign doesn't already have a guide, don't hesitate to ask!
5. We are not Easytech Support!
This is a fan-made and a fan-run forum. This means we can't help you with your technical issues.
If something happens specifically with your game, please contact Easytech via easytechmail@gmail.com
Might expand this category later
Well that's it, not planning to bombard you with useless rules, but do want to put this out.
Have a good day!
