HAHAHAHA laughing my organs out right now, I somehow manage to get 40% off today (it was a close one), Guardian and Konev spam rumour on Monti and Alexander to the point of nonsense. Anyways is Rommel REALLY that bad at artillery? And what are the two recommended skills for Rommel? One last question, is Vatutin better than Rommel (I think not but ...)? I would give rommel panzer leader and rumor, you can use vatutin for your iron cross + armored assualt build. Rommel is not bad on artillery. But don’t get another skill such as machinist plain fighting or ... just to benefit his artillery side. What I did was max out his crossfire and get machinist, I really expected him to be op but really he was no much better than arnold and I poured 6000 medals into him. I made lots of wc4 mistakes, this one was one of the worst. Rommel is better than Vatutin. But I seeing as you can’t fit both armored assualt and rumor on vatutin, I would build your team around vatutin. You don’t have to sell Bock either if you like him, heck anyone on a super heavy is badass take a look at Bagryam. Just don’t pour too many medals into him. Nice job on the 40%. Now since you didn’t give into your urges, you might have saved yourself like 600 medals. how about panzer leader and blitz? that is what a guy said in rommel chat |

The mission at petropovlask isn’t hard, they actually reduce the cities hp so you can one shot them even if u do less than 150 damage (lvl 1 cities have 150 hp).
And after failing a few times I prioritised capturing cities with the airport first, this wastes a few turns but I finished on turn 15 exactly (the limit)
You really don’t need any infantry upgrades on gens to complete the game. Just infantry tech is enough

HI GUYS! After the event, I spent most of my metals and I still have ~1500 left (I have Bock, Vatutin, Konev, Guderian, Nimitz, and Rommel). Should I dump the metal into the already existing guys, or hire more? Your choice. I would probably upgrade everyone’s rumor level by one, at least the one’s you can. |

Go for Leeb, you won't regret it. When buying a general, I have a lot of things that must be considered. Their historical strength and weaknesses and what they are involved in, so when you mention Leeb I will thank you for your suggestion but for what he did (holocaust) I will not hire him. However, other artillery generals are considerable like Govorov and Zang Z Z are cool with me. |
