Hey guys.. I decided to redownload WC3 and wondering if I should go for Vatutin as my first gen. Grinding for medals ist a problem, but many people are saying Bodoglio, so what shall I do?

Since you are planning on Vatutin, maybe you can go a bit higher and get Govorov.

Govorov is a stronger version of badoglio, but if you find it difficult grinding out that many medals in the beginning, Badoglio will be a solid choice. The other choice for an artillery general is Bai CX who travels quite fast.

Great. Thanks Guys. The extra 200 or so medals will be a tough grind, but I'll give it a try.

Got him. First shot he fired dealt almost 90 damage.. That was a good call for sure. 👍

Getting 3300 medals will be difficult. How does one do such a thing?! Will certainly have to get the medal producing wonders.

Beat the cold war campaign (gives you 1000 medals at the end), do a bit of conquest (300 medals for 1939), and 1943 should be doable as you have govorov, and definitely get the medal wonders as soon as possible. It’s definitely doable. You should get him with 2 weeks of grinding. Oh yeah also, leave the screen on when you go to bed and use the opportunity to either grind up industry with finland or spain by placing your generals, then autoplaying. For finland, I would capture moscow then put it on auto.

good cheap choice for tanks, but imo he is not in top 6 overall, not fit for endgame. that in mind, id go for Govorov

good cheap choice for tanks, but imo he is not in top 6 overall, not fit for endgame. that in mind, id go for Govorov Guderian > Manstein > Rommel > Patton > Zhukov > Rokossovsky (not worth buying but can survive nukes and missiles) > Timoshenko > Vatutin > Montgomery (unless in Africa) #8th spot Slow, but hits hard. Fortunately, timoshenko fixes most of the flaws vatutin has while not sacrificing too much output.
