Hi everyone, I recently finished every challenge in the game except for the last Crimean War campaign. Which general should fill in the last slot in my arsenal. Thanks for any feedback you give me, the general selection is quite tough to make.

Thanks for any feedback you give me, the general selection is quite tough to make. I would rather say Davout/Lan or Barclay (you can actually have them both after dismissing Jourdan). There is only one difficult naval battle in EW6 - namly the "Baltic campaign". As you may remember I completed the "Black See campaign" with 3 stars without any admiral and only with 8 generals in the team (http://european-war-4.boards.net/thread/9980/princesses-unlock?page=2). I admit that the "Baltic campagn" is significantly more difficult than this one, but in the end I managed to receive 2 stars (again without an admiral and with 8 generals in total). You have Nelson and potentially will have 12 generals in your team. I think it is more than enough to complete it with 2 stars and even to try to complete it with 3 stars. On the other hand there are certain land battles where all your generals must give their best. First of all "Siege" and "The battle Balaclava". So in my opinion you need another land general rather than an admiral. And if I were you I would also replace Jourdan with someone more... Well just with someone

I will definitely take that into consideration. A land general would definitely be invaluable. Only using 8 generals must have been fun : )

Sukarno (Support Nelson) or lan (good damage and high battle ability) I was thinking Lan as well. I will probably have to make an iap purchase of medals cuz my only remaining source is the crimean war campaign.

I literally finished the crimean war challenge today:) (all 3 star except Siege and Balacalva) and I can only confirm what stoic said. Nelson is enough to complete the naval missions. I have both Barclay and Lan in my lineup (3-3-3-1). For me Lan as my 3rd cav gen really made the difference on a few occasions. So if had to decide between the two I'd prefer her over Barclay. If you get both of them I can assure you that Nelson can easily do Jourdan's job with tactics master.

I was thinking Lan as well. I will probably have to make an iap purchase of medals cuz my only remaining source is the crimean war campaign. 950 medals and 125 flowers. Depending on your willingness to grind it can be done in 6 days (~20 flowers and ~40 medals each day) and 700/50= 14 times Netherlands or Portugal

I will instead sell my fully upgraded dabrowski and will buy both Lan and him with those medals. Since he is only duke I won’t lose any gold medals in the process. Thanks for the advice.

Nelson has tactics master and huge ba so using him on rocket artillery shouldn’t be much of a problem.

In actual fact I don't think that it is the best solution... Dabrowski is an excellent team player. Without him Murat, Blucher and Lan will loose a significant part of their strength. Don't make rush decisions... Take your time, be a little more patient, and hire Lan and replace Jourdan with Barclay. Dismissing Dabrowski will make your life more difficult in future battles...

No. I meant that selling my current Dabrowski will give me 2800 medals. Dabrowski un upgraded costs around 1700, and Lan 950. The combined cost will be 2650 medals. Then I will upgrade them via netherlands farming. So no worries my dude, I have grown quite fond of him myself. .
