It was hard!
I'll tell you why.
First you have to stabilize(since the low resources)
It's a juggling thing,trying to stay alive from the Spainish onslaught.
And building up resources.
Forget defying the Spainish Armada pray the Brits will help.
Then if you do well,you make it to Madrid.
Now you HAVE to split,one going NE and one going SE,hopefully you taken Seville by now,if not backtrack as this city needs under your control.
Once approaching Barcelona and Zaragoza you find the Frenchman and Italians everywhere,all your allies are falling as you cannot send the help.
Game over for Portuguese!
