did Napoleon really call the them an disorderly mob in the . Battle of Leipzig? It reminds me of this book I read over the summer. It's Napoleon inspired. One of the main characters is thinking to himself while he's looking at the enemy, they look like a disorderly mob . Rather then the formation . something along that same thought. It's funny I saw that same Remark in EW6.

Briefly searching the net I haven't found any references to that quotation attributed to Napoleon. He has some others really interesting and somewhat funny ones like : "From the sublime to the ridiculous is but a step" quoted during his retreat from Russia. Also (strictly imo) it's doubtful the original "disorderly mob" is a true quotation because a mob by conventional definition is disorganized so adding a qualifying "disorganized" to something that is understood to already mean that doesn't really make sense. If you are interested in some of Napoleon thoughts check out this site.
