Hi guys I currently have 76 medals(xD), and I have fully upgraded guderian, konev, leeb, rommel, vatutin, yamashita, nimitz and kuznetsov. Was wondering what my next 4 generals should be so I'm asking for help here HAHA. Should I get no generals at all, or get timoshenko, arnold, eisenhower, donitz or dowding? I'll let you guys help me with the important generals, I want to save the last general slot for a fun and uncommon general(maybe bock ))))))))))))))) )

Hmm yeah i was thinking of using arnold or dowding on carriers, and they have at least one useful non air skill, rumour(against destroyers so not v gd but still) and explosives respectively.

Dowding: better city defender(4*artillery is quite good for defending), more resourceful (Econ skills),better at strike fort(explosive). Arnold:better crowd controller (can lower people morale),better mobility(infantry movement is better than artillery movement),better striking city(carpet bombing) Recommended skill for Dowding: rumour,carpet bombing, cover,industrial expert or technology expert. Recommended skill for Arnold: explosive,cover or disguse? So if you want to defend air, get Dowding. If you want a offence air,get Arnold. But after all is all depend on you my friend.😃😃

It depends on what you’re planning to do with the game (if you have already beaten it)
For speed running, get Dowding, put lvl 5 economic expert and lvl 5 technology expert (no other upgrades) and put both medals for those 2 skills. Total cost is 1341 (40% discount) plus 3090 medals (1270 for economic, 1820 for technology). This makes your conquests go faster because of extra $50 and 10 tech every turn. Pretty much the only way to beat or get close to the world records
But yeh I also agree with getting a fun general, for example air gens because air attacks were barely used so why not have fun with them lol

But after all is all depend on you my friend.😃😃 yep that pretty much sums up the two thanks for the help haha i think im more inclined to get dowding for aircraft carriers as getting yamamoto is abit extra and pricey...

Plus, the economic bonuses given by dowding are less and less useful over the long run while the air force skills and rumour that Arnold gets makes him more viable at air combat. In short, get Arnold IF you want an air general.
Also, I would not recommend getting Donitz OR Arnold as you already have Nimitz, and he is good enough to be a navy gen or an air gen. If you feel you need one of both, then pick Arnold and make Nimitz your navy general.

But after all is all depend on you my friend.😃😃 Explosives is only good for direct attacks, not air force, and Arnold already has carpet bombing which is better for what you use air force for, making explosives on him a bit silly

Put him on the crappiest tanks they give you in scenarios so you get the general benefits without wasting one of the generals you need to put on a 3x heavy or super tank

Tech is scarce in UN missions as well as one star country conquests, so it makes a huge difference. Well it is still possible to clear UN hard missions without him but he is important for speed running conquests of any era, because the tech level needs to be upgraded as fast as possible to get nice unlocks like missiles.

His valuable point that he can get resources,defend city and his 6*air make him quite good to strike enemy all at the same time. For Arnold, he can move around freely from city to city to bombard city and enemy,can defend himself from enemy(bloody lvl 4 rumour!!!) And use him on carrier is much better than Dowding(carpet+airforce leader on carriet=OP) Side note:I think this is one of the largest discussion about two general we might want to make tread about it?
