I just got the game so I am not that good. Is there a nation in conquest that I can get easy wins with to get medals and get better at the game. When I play after about 30-40 rounds it looks like all of my allies are slowly getting overpowered by the other side. Is there a nation, a method or any tips that can help me become a better player so that I can win a conquest?

The trick is making sure poland does not capitulate. If it does restart. For me personally, this one has the least chance to fail, even compared to the method where you invade england turn 1.

Also do the declaration of independence campaign for some nice rewards. Most people recommend Massena as first gen since hes very versatile. 3 star: Ottoman or GB 2 star:Denmark or Sweden 1 star: Netherlands these are imo best 1798 choices.

Try to play Russia 1798.It is quite easy. 1.Gather all your Russian generals and capitulate Poland. 2.Donate to HRE.Make sure they don't die.Quickly attack Hamburg. 3.Donate to allies as much as you can. 4.After Hamburg falls, split your troops. The larger group attacks enemy northern cities, while the smaller one assist Sweden. 5.After Denmark falls, merge your forces.Attack counter-clockwise,taking France's northern and western cities.Central ones will be beaten by HRE and Prussia, while Naples and Sardinia will take care of southern ones. 6.Launch a gigantic offensive against Spain. Ottoman Front: 1.Defend your cities. You have Suvorov,Senyavin, and 3 cavalry generals.Shouldn't be too hard. 2.Launch an offensive with support from allies once the European front is secured.Pretty straightforward.

Easiest nations in conquest for every Year:
1798 conquest:
1 star : Netherlands 2 star : Denmark/Sweden 3 star : Russia
1806 conquest:
1 star : Saxony 2 star : Denmark/Sweden 3 star : Spain
1812 conquest:
1 star : Naples 2 star : Denmark/Sweden/Portugal 3 star : Great Britain
1815 conquest:
1 star : Naples 2 star : Algeria 3 star : Ottoman Empire
Denmark and Sweden are generally the easiest countries in almost all conquests because of how safe they are. Reason they aren't the easiest in 1815 is because how late some of the coalition countries enter, and how powerful the French army is. Sweden and Denmark are still easy in 1815, but for 1815 it's almost impossible to speed run unless you have max tech and powerful generals. Play this countries so you can get the conquest completion rewards.
Most difficult nations for each year :
1798 conquest :
1 star : Sardinia 2 star : Naples 3 star : Austria
1806 conquest :
1 star : Morocco 2 star : Sicily 3 star : Austria
1812 conquest :
1 star : Egypt 2 star : Prussia 3 star : Starts with an A and ends with ustria
1815 conquest :
1 star : Egypt 2 star : Portugal 3 star : France
Nations you should only play if you want a challenge. For the majority of years, Austria is the hardest country to complete. For 1815, France is harder since Austria this time has time to prepare before the French could get near them, while Bavaria is at least an ally now. Also, you need to play France almost perfectly, or atleast not make any major positioning mistakes, or else your cuffed.Portugal is really hard in 1815, despite it one of the easiest in 1812. I don't know myself why, but all i can say is that the French is generally stronger than in 1812, and Suchet and Massena is pretty buffed. Also, old guards. Again, only play this countries if you want a challenge, or if you enjoy suffering.

Russia 1798 might be a bit harder after the patch so I’d recommend Spain over it, but otherwise a very good list. Saxony 1806 is a very good one as all you have to do is grab berlin than spam militia to hold off the cities.

Problem with Spain is that the closest enemy is Britain, and invading them immediately using your land units can be annoying, since they send their units to harass units you still have at sea. Good thing Spain's wonder is +6 movement, which is great.

It is preventable just very frustrating. But the good news is that if declare on italy turn 1 they get crushed and that also saves sardinia from capitulation.

Portugal's defeat is almost certain.Donating to them delays the defeat though. Also,as I said before, sending troops to Scandinavia prevents a Swedish defeat. After saving Sweden, focus on supporting HRE(helps killing Ottomans),Naples, and Sardinia(launching a southern attack against Spain).

I usually spend a lot of my money mid game saving HRE, Sweden, maybe Naples and Russia. Portugal and Sardinia are both always really hard to save (Sardinia isn't as hard to save though) but when you do it is great and saves a lot of time.

You can wreck the polish easy, same with the italians and the dutch. You legit will half the enemy team in like 10 rounds

You legit will half the enemy team in like 10 rounds Yup, it's easy with some gens. But for new players with no generals or only have the free ones, it can be a head ache for them, since micromanaging would be difficult for them.
