Finally finished all Crimean War missions. I have been checking the guides here throughout as I progressed. However, most people have the iap generals Blucher and Napoleon, which makes some (not all) guides obsolete if you don't have them because they are rather game changing alone. I can say this without having them because I have Murat, and I cannot imagine completing a single mission without him beyond the Prussian Challenge. Blucher is a slightly better version of Murat, so having two of those guys in my opinion would wreck the game. Anyway, I am making this thread for those who want to complete the game without spending money, that's the real challenge. My upgrades are not maxed, my generals are not fully upgraded (except Murat, see below), as I did not 'grind' for medals or money - mostly used awards for progression. Here are some takeaway points. -Infantry generals are unnecessary, I know many people won't agree with this (again, see below, I completed the game without a single one) -Spend money on cavalry upgrades only until they are maxed, don't even bother with fortification/ship upgrades -Crimean Challenge - Siege is the hardest mission in game without a doubt, even the ones that come after that are not nearly as difficult

Solid job my friend.

I think buying Blucher alone would be the wisest course of action. He is really good and overall will carry you far into the game. Everyone else is not really that good. I mean Napoleon is strong but John outperforms every artillery general in the game on a combined tile.

silvercreek, could be tech . No? That slowed me down in overlord campaign. Now it's easy. Maybe the larger conquest and challenges is a bit tough. unagok, congrats by the way:)
