Eagle badges are really easy to get since they're awarded after Netherlands 1798. In fact they're some nice gold since they sell 3000 gold each. But for some nice medals that improve gen skills, I need crown badges as well. How can I get them?

The rest you have to buy specifically from the item store for 100 medals. It really isn’t too bad as you only need to play netherlands 1798 twice to get one. Otherwise, if you are talking about the ones you need to purchase medals, you get those from playing coalition countries. You need around 22 to purchase every medal available, which you can get by Playing Sardinia 1806 8 times.

I don't fancy replaying Sardinia 8 times if it can be avoided!

I don't fancy replaying Sardinia 8 times if it can be avoided! Challenges and campaign rewards. The least tedious way to do it is to get your generals to king through farming then promote them to emperor with the ones you win from campaign. In base game, mahmud ii, karl, alex i, nelson, and maybe lan will be the only emperors on your team

You get way more than that from rewards

He's talking About the golden coins not the medals Oh. Those you have to farm the coalition repeatedly for. They cost 300 medals a pop, which is far from worth it. You get 3 of them from a one star country tho

Thanks guys, but please can you define "coalition country"?
e.g. In 1798 NL is blue but Portugal is red.
Also I just did Naples 1812 S rank and got 0 crown badges.

The reds with the crown insignia are members of the Coalition. The blues with the wings insignia are France and her client states. Portugal a guaranteed Coalition country except during French occupation in 1806 conquest. Naples/Sicily is only Coalition for 1798 and 1806, while in 1812 and 1815, Naples/Sicily is a French client state. Sardinia is a Coalition member, but is taken over by Italy in 1812 and 1815. Warsaw/Poland is always a French client state, but is take over in 1815. Spain is originally a French ally, but becomes a Coalition member in 1812 and 1815.

I think I get it now: silver Eagle badges if you play on the side of the French Imperial Eagles, bronze(?) Crown badges if you're on the side of the British Crown.
