They both have mediocre output. I would only consider them if I had Murat, Dabrowski, Lan, and Ney on my team and wanted more cavarly generals, which is unlikely

Yeah. Really murat and dabrowski are the core of the build. Once you have them, you will need additional breakthrough to get through the rest of the challenged. Really you need generals who have the skill “edge” later on in challenges, which Murat and Dabrowski both lack so afterwards Ney could be a great choice.

We really need best (not just good) Cavalry generals for this game. Who are the best Cavalry generals? Those who have best skills. Best skills for a Cavalry general are: 1. Aura skill (without any doubt the best skill in the game). 2. Terrain bonus (preferably Plain fighting). 3. Damage bonus while commanding Cavalry units. There are other decent skills as damage bonus against Infantry, increased critical damage and second attack possibility. But those skills above are the best. Find a general with best skills. That's what you really need.
