I think there are a lot of things some people mess up in conquests. Like not helping allies at all or wasting time on units.
1798 is easy 1806 is a bit harder then 1798 and 1812 and 1815 are both really annoying if you don't have good generals or techs you're almost always gonna have a bad time.
It's best you try out the conquests before trying to win to see what usually happens. Do this for each side, the Imperial French (Blue) and the Coalition (Red).
I got all the medal achievements for 1798. Who do I recommend? 3 star: Russia, GB, and Spain are imo easiest for beginner. France is a lot of micromanaging but not too hard to pull off. Ottoman is annoying because the British fleet always attacks you and you have to kill off the troops in carrier but after that it's easy. HRE I wouldn't recommend at all for a beginner. Everyone wants to kick your butt and spam at you and your allies don't help enough since France has so many generals and Spain has nothing better to do but Spam at you and Britain after killing Portugal. GB is easy because nobody can touch you and you have starting fleets in Mediterranean. Russia is easy because of the tsar cannons and it's hard for someone to defeat you. But killing ottoman is a bit rough. Spain is easy for similar reasons, you can do whatever you want after killing Portugal. 2 star: Sweden or Denmark. If you're in Scandinavia just kill your rival and help your allies in Germany or somewhere else. Prussia is also quite easy, some nice starting generals but killing off France is hard but after Poland joins it gets really annoying. Naples is very hard for beginner since all your neighbors hate you and your only friends nearby Sardinia and HRE both get kicked hard. 1 star: Netherlands. That's it. All the other ones are difficult for beginner. There are many guides on how to auto play it without needing anything. Great for grinding resources.
1806 3 star and 2 star nations are quite easy for me. 1 star is always quite rough in this era. Even Netherlands can be annoying here and there's only like 4 one star countries which really sucks. Literally half of 1806 nations are 2 star there's a wide aroma of choices and as a 3 star country you're really strong.
1812 and 1815 as a beginner, good luck. It's hard as literally every unit is extremely strong, generals are maxed out and op, and if you lose America it really sucks as you have to go take it yourself. As a beginner try to stick in Europe in these eras. The American nations aren't too hard but invading Europe is impossible to invade if you lose because of all the spam.
Im trying to get rewards from last 3 eras. 2700 medals is a lot. Do you guys have any tips? Much appreciated.

If you can, pick the countries that typically get defeated, such as Austria 1812 or Netherlands 1806. This will be a huge advantage to your team mates. In 1812, it is really important to lend lease your allies across the ocean. 1798: Prussia, Netherlands, Spain (ottoman good too) 1806: Spain/Ottoman, Netherlands, Poland/Prussia 1812, Morocco, USA, and Sweden should be decent countries to play as. 1815: Usa, Bavaria, Algeria I can definitely see you getting everything but 1815 done with meh generals. 1815 is really when you have to start hurrying. Also, you can wait on your enemies to do stupid things like leaving cities on defended and then grabbing them.

I have to say, EW6 is one of an only few of ET games where allies actually do something useful tbh. Wc4 you can keep them alive, but they still help. Wc3 and ew4 theyre nothing but buffer zones and city stealers at the end. Ew5 youre independent. The best you can do is a peace treaty.

Yeah you should definently give them cash when they're struggling, it can make a huge impact. Also I wanna say this to beginners: From the looks of a beginner, you will probably think 1815 conquest is biased for coalition. But French Imperials are still really strong. Here is my Tribal Union attempt.

That must have been awfully painful. My condolences : ) My strategy is too actually not bribe any africans. This is so egypt and morocoo can spam at Algeria. While waiting bribe European nations or support american allies. I have barclay and massena so i put them in each others aura and damage is still good.

That must have been awfully painful. My condolences : ) I think we should make a list of every conquest in each era and their difficulty compared to other conquests for that star in that era. Like NetherFreek did in WC3 library, it can be useful.

Definitely that would be useful I will try. Ill make new thread for this. I'll do it in NetherFreek format, and will give all credit to him for the style.

I played most of the conquests in ew6 at least twice (except for Tribal Union, i kind of nope’d on that one). I can give you a few pointers.
