The hardest conquests in the game seems to be Austria 1812 and Bavaria 1815.
Austria 1812 because you can’t hold off the Ottomans and their mamluk spam, you get attacked from France and Warsaw from the North and Italy and Naples (with Murat) from the southwest and you have a crappy army to work with. I’ve tried it and it’s really ugly.
Bavaria 1815 because Italy joins in 4 turns and that is not enough time to fend off Uber France. And neither Prussia nor Austria can handle the heat.

Good old 1815 year I really liked 1812 and 1815 conquests. Very interesting from a strategical point of view! I beated 1815 conquest in 29 turns, btw. So, would be glad to help if needed That’s probably going to be the hardest record to beat. Russia means that you count on Canada and Mexico, right? Actually, 1812/1815 conquests add a new dimension to speed runs. It is of paramount importance to solve two principle questions - to whom should I send my resources and when should I do it. It can change a course of history literally. Micromanagement is very important, especially in 1815...

I agree about Austria, but Bavaria is in fact a pretty straightforward conquest (with all pros and cons of being the one). I recall my best result was around 40 turns, but it is definitely possible to improve it significantly, because my generals were far from being fully upgraded. There are two principle ways to handle the problems - to knock down France first or on the contrary leave France steamroll for a time, and to crush Ottomans first. The real problem with Bavaria is its financial situation. It is simply impossible to donate enough resources in the first ten turns.

I’m considering Britain in 1812 because then I can handle USA on my own. Ottomans are going to be a huge problem though.

I think, that 1* record in 1812 can be improved as well. And it would interesting to see how 2* record could be beaten It was a smooth run on all fronts, almost without errors But, of course, a fresh insight can change everything. In the past we thought 35-37 turns are quite a good result for 2* country.

You need 4 good generals for bavaria and it becomes one of the easiest conquests in 1815. You can go in either direction. Imo its the easiest as you are surrounded by strong allies and can line infantry spam your way out of a tough scenario. Austria 1812 is difficult however, way to strong enemies around you, bavaria, ottomans, two italies, france, and poland. Very hard to survive.

The distance between South America to Iberia is about 5-6 turns of sailing. I sent 3 of my weakest generals to work on USA.

If fact, it is quite easy, though quite long Usually I sent only Murat to help Mexicans and Canadians, and the rest moved to Europe and Africa after nailing Brazil.I preferred North Africa instead of Portugal/Spain because it is an easy landing and there is a chance you save your allies there. In North America Murat should establish a permanent base and that is enough to give your allies a breathing space. After defeating Brazil your economy is good enough to make some serious donations. Bad news is that donations don't help you much this time. You may save Austria and Russia, but no way they will defeat Ottomans on their own. Almost surely you have to conquer Middle East with your own Colombian troops

Yeah, I had an army lead by Murat, Blucher, Dabrowski and Lan and completely steamrolled France since their entire army was in Prussia.

Hey! Welcome back. Yeah, I had an army lead by Murat, Blucher, Dabrowski and Lan and completely steamrolled France since their entire army was in Prussia. Was that luck? Cause France usually deals with the Iberians and then start to intensively attack Prussia.

They took almost the entire Iberia by themselves. I only helped a bit in capturing Sevilla, which I had to do as I needed a base in mainland Europe.
