Usually French enthusiasm dies out after 28-30 turns (a script, apparently) and they will be attacked on all sides. But Ottoman cities in the Middle East and Asia Minor are a real problem. No one will bother to conquer them. And it takes time to capture them with Colombian units. All in all Gran Colombia is the safest way to complete 2* country in 1815, but hardly a record material... I just did algeria. It went fine the us front was a stalemate. Took me 97 rounds, but I ended up with an s rank. Probably going to either do denmark or sweden next. For the one star, egypt, naples, and bavaria are the best choices right?

Is Morocco a good choice? I believe that if I can take Algeria out, send help to Spain and attack Naples from behind, the conquest is pretty much won. France is strong at the beginning, but Spanish resistance is fierce. Portugal is no pushover either. If help from AI Morocco is enough to push France back, then help from a strong player Morocco might be enough to even steamroll France. Prussia can hold out and even push back France. When Bavaria and the Scandinavians join, France will be in a tough spot for sure. While the Ottomans, Italy and Naples are fierce, Austria can hold out pretty well against them. If one of those 3 countries get taken out, the remaining ones will have a hard time. If I manage to take both Naples and Italy out, then it’s just the Ottomans vs Austria and Russia, which isn’t going to be a easy fight for the Alliance's Middle-Eastern great power. Mexico and Canada can take USA out without much lend-leasing. Now, I’m worried about Gran Colombia. Brazil usually takes them out, but when I tried a Naples 1815 conquest, I was shocked to see Gran Colombia defeating Brazil, with their starting generals alive.

That’s because the enemy AI is slightly better than the Ally AI. Gran Colombia is pretty much on par with Brazil, so either one can win, if they’re your enemy. Morocco is awesome. Algeria isn’t really hard to beat, they can save Spain, and they have very good access to America. They even have quite a formidable starting army (2 heavy cavalry!).

Algeria isn’t really hard to beat, they can save Spain, and they have very good access to America. They even have quite a formidable starting army (2 heavy cavalry!). Yup, I’m on Turn 55 and things are going really well for the Coalition: Brazil was going to be the biggest problem for me since they were on par with Gran Colombia and South America is somewhat remote. Solution? I funded Gran Colombia nearly every turn and they eventually defeated Brazil. Afterwards, they sent most of their forces to help Mexico and Canada against USA. Gran Colombia is thankfully very aggressive when funded. All of their generals were still alive when they defeated Brazil. Now the U.S. has to fight a war against 2 great powers + a middle power (Arguably 3 great powers since Gran Colombia is now the sole dominant power of South America), and the Americans are very likely to lose. With Africa and all of Italy under control, I turned my attention towards the Iberian Peninsula. I saw that France wasn’t paying a lot of attention towards Iberia since they were now focused on the giant Coalition army that formed after the Scandinavians and Bavaria joined the war. Said army was attacking France and occupying the country without much opposition. So I started funding Spain, and they quickly moved in to retake their cities, with France not doing anything to stop it. Before the French realized, Spain had taken nearly their entire country back and France itself was occupied by the Coalition. Portugal had managed to keep most of their cities, but Spain took Porto from the French, likely to tease Portugal a bit since they were rivals some 12 years ago. By turn 54, France is gone. The Ottoman Empire has to face alone against another giant army that is taking their entire territory with few resistance. Egypt is also attacking from the south. The Ottomans are very likely to lose.

The fact that Saudi Arabia is now an independent, neutral country from the Ottoman Empire also helps a lot, cause Saudi Arabia takes a big chunk from the map. The Ottomans in 1806 control Saudi Arabia and thus they were quite annoying to defeat.

Oh yeah! A S-rank! Now I only need to do USA 1815 to collect the last Conquest reward!

Fittingly, Britain took the last U.S.A city.

The other one being Greenland.

The great thing about USA in 1815 is that if you defeat Canada and Mexico quickly enough, you can then annex Greenland, then Great Britain, then Scandinavia and help with Prussia and Russia. Only Scandinavia, a big Prussian city and Russia remain in this conquest.

BTW, I witnessed a Tank in action for the first time. It was thankfully easy to defeat because it was alone and my generals were great.

There we go! Last conquest that I had to do in order to get the rewards. I hope that others manage to collect all of those rewards without a lot of difficulty.

You know what would be a difficult conquest? Uk 1815. You got 3 generals on land, only one of which can heal. No backup whatsover. And tons of french spam heading your way.

And the one you get who can heal is Wellesley. In an area with literally only 1 mountain. But really UK isn't too hard because France is easy to hold off when they decide to go for your land.

These are my recommendations. However, I am a speedrunner rather than a noob so these could be different for everybody. However, some of these conquests even I have trouble beating and my generals are really strong. Great system you have. 1806: Very Easy: Netherlands, Spain, Sardinia Easy: Ottoman, Prussia, Poland, Austria, Medium: United Kingdom, France, Russia, Saxony, Sweden, Denmark, Egypt Hard: Morocco, Sicily, Italy, Rhine (debatably “Very Hard”) 1812: Very Easy: USA, Morocco, Bavaria Easy: Egypt, UK, Spain, Russia, Ottoman, Sweden, Denmark, Naples Medium: Algeria, Prussia, Poland, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Portugal Hard: Austria, France 1815: Very Easy: Algeria, Easy: Egypt, USA, Brazil, France, Ottoman, Naples, Bavaria, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Morocco Medium: Canada, Mexico, Prussia, Italy, Hard: United Kingdom, Austria, Portugal, Russia Very Hard: Gran Columbia, Canada, Mexico, Tribal Union My choices for each year: 1798: 1-Star: Netherlands (Obviously. Just use the Netherlands 1798 farming method. If you don’t know about it, you can find it here: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/9288/1798-netherlands-auto-guide?page=1&scrollTo=225257)2-Star: Sweden (One of two best conquests to farm Coalition badges, thus it's one of the easiest 2-star Coalition conquests in the game. Kill Denmark, then help your allies against France and Ottomans. Your allies will likely carry you through after the Danish are gone) 3-Star: Ottoman (You can clear this conquest in like 30 turns if everything goes well. Most of your forces deal with HRE. After HRE is gone, focus on Russia) 1806: 1-Star: Saxony (Follow Deleted's guide. If everything goes well, you will get a S-rank and unlock Sakurako as a princess) 2-Star: Sweden (Very similar to 1798. Don’t worry about Greenland, the British usually send a fleet there to capture it.) 3-star: Austria (Just spam militia to hold your cities while half of your forces deal with Ottomans, the other with France and company) 1812: 1-Star: Morocco (All you need to do is declare war on Algeria and kill them, then kill Naples and Italy. From then on, your allies will do the rest, and the Conquest will be pretty much won. If necessary, lend-lease Canada and Mexico a bit) 2-Star: Warsaw ( I chose this one because you can declare war on Prussia and kill them easily, then go after Russia. The annoying part is having to sail to North America, since even when your allies go there too, killing Mexico and Canada takes quite some time, and USA never completely defeats them. Even then, lend-lease the Americans constantly so that they can hold their ground until you and your allies arrive. Declare war on Morocco and Egypt by Turn 10 so that they won’t kill Algeria when the latter enters the war) 3-star: USA (Removes the annoying part of having to go to North America. By the time Mexico and Canada are gone, your allies will likely have near-complete control over Europe and Africa. Go after Great Britain if they’re still alive after North America is under your control. Like with any other Alliance 1812 country, declare war on Morocco and Egypt so that they will send their forces to attack elsewhere and not kill Algeria) 1815: 1-Star: Morocco (Almost the same as 1812. Spend your unused gold on donations to Gran Colombia so that they defeat Brazil and help against USA. Lend-lease Spain if France stops attacking them so that the Spanish will counterattack) 2-Star: Algeria (Easiest 2-star conquest in 1815. Kill Morocco and Egypt, then go help against Austria and Russia. Lend-lease USA constantly so that they can hold until help arrive. This time, Brazil will help you, so at least USA won’t fight alone. Start funding Brazil if they have a hard time against Gran Colombia) 3-Star: USA (Pretty much the same as 1812. Fund Brazil if Gran Colombia brings them a hard time. After Mexico and Canada are gone, invade Greenland, then Great Britain, then Scandinavia and finally Russia if your allies haven’t captured those places yet. Also fund Algeria if they have a hard time against Egypt and Morocco) Note: My description about those conquests is based on my personal experience with such conquests when I did them.
