Fun fact: The Moroccans were key to reunifying Italy. Don’t believe me? Here is the proof :

Got A-rank as Brazil. Another great French Eagle country to play as. Don’t know why I got A and not S, but the conquest was faster than Algeria and A-rank is enough to satisfy the requirements for getting A-rank as a 2-star country in 1815.

Quick tip, if you are playing as Spain in either 1812 or 1815, declare war on algeria turn 1. It is not hard to defend the island of palma, and especially with the princess sophia. The results are hilarious. image sharing sites

Tried doing that while playing the British cause of the Royal Navy in the area. Lets just say they had more men than I had shells. Although Morocco did sweep through Algeria albeit with a bit of lend-lease.

Well, I (finally) decided to try Conquest 1815 with Denmark (two stars) and Naples (one star).
I only used 4 generals: Wellesley, Blucher, Napoleon, Benedek.
With Denmark, well... the French put up a hell of a fight! I didn't expect something that difficult, although Denmark is supposed to be "easy" according to the difficulty ranking. Damn! France literally keeps spamming elite troops on two sides (against Spain and against Prussia). Their generals hit hard. Very hard. It took me like 60 rounds to take down France and its allies (Italy/Naples). Luckily, Austria and Russia survived against the Ottomans and managed pretty well in the Balkans. However, in America, Mexico and Canada were struggling against the United States and the whole South America has been conquered by Brazil. I started getting desperate when, after 60 rounds, I realized that Brazil was threatening Mexico and that I had to cross the ocean in order to conquer America... At this moment, I started bribing Mexico and Canada with a lot of resources and after a few rounds, incredibly, it worked. They spammed a lot of good units and eventually conquered the United States without my help. Meanwhile, I directly sent my four generals to Brazil. Finally, I beat Denmark with a A-Rank, 92 rounds.
With Naples, I first focused on Austria and quickly conquered this country with the help of the Ottomans. The French were crushing both Prussia and Spain without my help. They eventually reached Berlin before me, although I was moving fast to the north of the map. I met the Russians around Vienna. Once Austria and Prussia were gone, well... it became boring. For some unknown reason, France stopped its invasion of Portugal and let without protection the conquered cities. In America, the situation was very unfavourable to me: this time, the United States were overwhelmed by Mexico and Canada. I started conquering Scandinavia and Russia and this took me soooo long! In fact, I literally became bored of this conquest. I spent more time in giving resources to my ally in America rather than fighting. This time, though, I had to cross the ocean in order to conquer Canada and Mexico because the USA were good for absolutely nothing. I finished this game with a S-Rank, 110 rounds.
The only real difficulty is still the same: America. Whatever the side you're playing for, it seems that your allies in America are perfect incompetent. They always run out of resources and it isn't easy to keep them alive. It's real simple:
- by playing on the French side, if you see that the USA have been wiped out, then give up and restart the conquest. - by playing on the Coalition side, if you see that both Mexico and Canada have been wiped out, then give up and restart.
Why? This is from my experience: You'll need some time to cross the ocean. And there, your enemies in North America will start moving all their units to Europe. Which means that you'll face them in the ocean. A lot of them. They will always go straight for you in the water and it is very difficult to avoid them. Even if you manage to keep your units alive and reach America, your enemies will keep spamming a lot of units on the coast in order to prevent you from docking. You'll lose a LOT of time and units for very little gains.
Good luck with Conquest 1815! Clearly not for beginners.

Until Algeria, Naples and Italy are gone, lend-lease the Austrians so that they can hold out. After the Austrians are safe, you can lend lease Spain so that they start taking their territory back from the French who are now focused on the central and eastern front. In the Americas, lend-lease Gran Colombia until they defeat Brazil because the Brazilians are more likely to win. Lend-lease the Canadians and Mexicans so that they spam troops and destroy USA. USA is much less aggressive than them, so even if you don’t lend-lease the Canadians and the Mexicans, USA will take a VERY LONG time to defeat either of the countries, and the Americans won't be able to handle the counterattack. Your allies will also be sailing towards North America to help if they defeated the French and the Ottomans, and if Gran Colombia defeated Brazil, they will already be helping from the start.

He is far worse in this game than in the sequel.

Thanks for your advices! I did like this but by playing Britain. This time it went really well, mostly because by playing this country you earn a decent amount of resources at the very beginning. I gave a lot of resources to Colombia, Mexico and Canada and that worked: Colombia quickly defeated Brazil, while in North America the USA were getting overwhelmed. I only sent the British navy to Washington / New-York in order to help destroy the city fortifications. Here is the result: This is so satisfying. And in Europe: Surprisingly, I only got a A-Rank. I beat it in 65 rounds and I've only used Wellesley, Blucher and Napoleon. Ps: do not mess with Benedek, he survived. Barely, but surely.

Prussia 1812 is actually quite easy. You have blucher with an ambulance. Put him into berlin. Then when massena spawns from dresden (city to the south west of berlin if I screwed up the name), you have the cavarly wonder that prussia possesses. Spam it a couple times and massena will be easy pickings.

No conquests except for joke countries like Netherlands 1798 are easy with lousy tech. The enemies take way too many hits to kill and you can't defend ever. I don't really agree with the approach above either. Massena isn't a real threat and you really need to push.

Tech level is the main reason why missions like Westward Expansion, Napoleonic Invasion of Russia, Conquer Europe (invading Britain) are such hell. Plus Prussia 1812 is quite far down the road tbh.

He is on an old guard and has lvl 6 infantry aura. He isn’t a huge threat but he will spawn near spain instead if you are unlucky. Then he might grab the island of palma. Since he also has lvl 3 aura range, that will also boost the peninsular war in france’s favor even more. Its just a precaution that is very funny to exploit.

Another one I disagree with on here is Russia 1798. I find it to be extremely hard due to how vulnerable sweden, sardinia, and portugal are. Its definitely very teeth gritting and needs quite a bit of manuvering to be done. Before the update, yes russia was the go to country. After the update, it is the third hardest country to play as behind sardinia and naples of course.
Its still a pretty good guide though just has some flaws which a newbie might be confused by.
