Hello,
I feel a bit confused with this game. Every time I start a mission (Campaign or Challenge), I have no idea whether I need to take a particular city, survive for X turns or kill a particular general.
Do you know how to understand the objective of a mission without having to read a guide?
Cheers

The game itself has a tutorial guide. And you earn medals even you go through it. Usually red circle around your enemy is the general or City you have to capture. And Green circle are not required , but like an added bonus to something like unlocking units. In campaign mode it's a turn limit. Usually under 30 rounds depending on progress. Sometimes in campaign mode you play defensively meaning you can't lose your cities or a certain unit. Tap Pause and it should give you what you need to do.

Yea, I would suggest the tutorials too, there very helpful, and if you ever are stuck on a mission, and need assistance on how to complete there are guides in the forums on how to do that, and YouTube videos.

Simply, look for the red rings around cities or units. This shows that is a main objective. The Arrows are the Enemy Controlled Objectives, you must take these.

Just focus on Red ring units (like above picture in admiralallen's post). If the units are your enemies, kill them (units) or capture them (cities). If the units are your allies, try to protect them (units) and try to protect or recapture them when they're lost (cities).

Thanks guys for your answers! I did the tutorials at start but forgot about the red circles. I prefer to know what to do without any guides (I don't like spoilers)
