Lol. How can you say EW6 is a pay to win game. The only game of ET can be consider p2w game is GoG2 IMO because you have to pay money (yes, a lot) to get unique (and super OP) units, you don't have any substitution for them in game. The EW6 is the most generous game of ET because you can farm medals by conquest and even can farm at very beginning of game (Sardinia 1798 and Netherland 1798 after update), 50 medals per 20 mins to 1 hour (depend on your team and you play them by manual or auto) isn't small number. I can farm about 2000 medals per day when i'm in middle of game. The IAP gens aren't unique. Wellesley is meh, Blucher is strong but you can hire Murat if you're free player, Napoleon can be replace by Madmuh II or Alexander I (They are weaker than Napoleon but not too much to make Napoleon OP and unique). And many people plays free can complete this game and many pay player stuck in the game although they have very nice team (Just like me ) ET games aren't easy to win games but they are f2w games, you can pay to reduce grinding time but paying real money can't make you complete the games w/o any skill and knowledge.

The only ET games i played so far is EW4 and EW6, and after trying and playing all sorts of games in android, i'd say EW4 and EW6 are in the category of games where you need skill and patience to finish the game. You can finish EW4 if you have Lan and Victoria maxed, while in EW6 you just need at least 4 strong generals to complete the campaigns. EW4 is better in the grinding department tho, since i can farm 200-300 medals in an hour, compared to 100-150 medals in EW6. All i can say is that ET games aren't for instant gratification, since again patience and skill is required. Took me 1 week of practicing in conquest to finally get the hang of conquest and finish conquests without great difficulty, and i've been playing this game for almost 3 weeks now. I can't say for all ET games, but EW4 and EW6 aren't pay to win games, they are skill to win games.

I Daily Farm EW5, EW6 and WC4, meaning that I farm Daily stuff like missions and battles.
This is an alternative free farming method that allows me to earn resources to buy and upgrade my good gens (Guderian and Nimitz in WC4, Murat and Dabrowski in EW6, to name a few).
Thus, ET games are definitely not Pay to Win. IAPs are good and help speed up progress but the amount of available free resources you earn and can farm is enough to create winning team.

People in general who say that easytech games are p2win(although that doesn't mean they are completely wrong) aren't used to grinding. The reason why EW6 seems pay to win is because the other option of getting generals and items, which is through grinding, is a pain, and most people either are too lazy, or are too busy. But then again, if you're too busy, why would you play this game . All other successful game have the same formula : Either you pay so you can get the better characters faster, or grind it out like the rest of us. Bad games have the most powerful characters or items only unlockable by buying them using real life currency. In EW6, the only borderline overpowered gens you can get are Blucher and Napoleon, and Napoleon isn't necessarily needed since Mahmud II and Alexander I is enough, while Blucher, despite being powerful and can solo 10 units once maxed, can't solo games on his own. Murat can do the same thing that Blucher can do, albeit to a slightly lesser extent. Hell, a lot of units can do what Blucher can do. Also, if the game was too easy, people would complete it fast and get bored, thus the difficulty. The only complaint(which really isn't) about EW6 is that completing conquests fast enough should reward strong generals like how EW4 rewards powerful princesses. It unlocks princesses, yes, but they aren't instantly unlockable, and you can only use the princess as either a princess or a general, which can be a pain when deciding to use sophia as a princess or general.

All mobile games have the option to pay. That's the way it is. They know human behavior and most will shell out. I did only because I like this game. Nothing wrong with it,and no need pay if you don't want to,. Saying this,I think,I know that one can win without paying a cent,if you are patient. There are great generals who aren't IAP's,maybe as good or better, but if you want them, you have to dedicate to grind for them.

Yeah if you want to pay money to get stuff if you want, its your money (I assume) that said, many players do just fine without spending money
