The categories can be
Artillery
Cavalry
Artillery Cavalry hybrid
Inf/cav or inf/art hybrid
6 or 8 emblems

Has all 4 Artillery skills with 4 starts artillery and infantry. Nelson can also work Cavalry: Dombrowski, Radetzky, Murat or Davout Inf/Cav: Difficult to say, best bet would probably be Massena Inf/Art: Moreau. No Inf skills but 4 stars Infantry |

So I’m wondering what the best iap generals would be The categories can be Artillery Cavalry Artillery Cavalry hybrid Inf/cav or inf/art hybrid 6 or 8 emblems Davout 3rd Best Cavarly General (#1 Lan, #2 Berthier) Best Artillery General Pros: moves really fast, good output, Cons: No bugle/strike/accuracy, No leadership Nelson 2nd Best Naval General (Kate # 1) Top 4 Artillery Generals Pros: Accuracy + Leadership + Good Movement + Good on Ships + Good Training Stars Cons: Takes a beating on ships. Radetsky Top Four Best Cavarly Pros: Very Strong Tanker, Good Defense and Offense, Good Training Stars, Good Movement Cons: Not a hybrid, no geography, no leadership Lannes: Best Infantry General Top 5 Cavarly Top 5 Artillery Pros: Good on artillery, cavarly, infantry, leadership + assualt art + mass fire = amazing, very fast, Cons: very expensive Poniatowski = Lannes swap mass fire for fireproof |

Lasalle, Washington, Suvorov and Moreau. Want to know how it feels to play Lan lite early in the game? Then get Lasalle. Want to feel that American pride surge into you while conquering the whole of Europe? Then Washington is for you. Want to know what happens to a watermelon when it gets hit by an atomic bomb? Then Suvorov is for you. Want to know what it feels to play Moreau instead of Moreau lite( Isabella), or simply just love how cool Moreau looks ? Then Moreau is for you. Tbh, there are tier 2 generals that can do what most of what this guys can do. But hey, if you want to spend some money on generals like i did, this are what i recommend. Con of Lasalle is that he has only 1 training star, so play him a bit carefully. Con of Washington is that he hits like a wet noodle, but he can take hits like Mohammed Ali when he fought Joe Frazier. Con of Suvorov is that, he sacrificed everything in enlargening his balls that he forgot that it would slow down his mobility. Con of Moreau is that Scharnhorst, Sophia and Isabella exist, which isn't a con in itself, but why spend more money for him if 3 great options exist, unless of course you think he's cool.

Buying the 5 emblem package and getting Dobeln and Scharnhorst (or Sulkowski/Ushakov) is the way to go imo. Cheapest price performance and you start off with 2 op generals instead of 1.
For the same price
Davout + 2 3 emblem general (of which the last you is worthless)
So Davout + 1 general
Or
Sulkowski + Dobleln + Golitsyn + Ushakov/Scharnhorst
Which is a way better deal imo
And Davout is the best iap imo

Soult isn’t awful. But if you wouldn’t buy Bagration, you wouldn’t buy Soult for the same reason a 6 emblem Mass fire commander... doesn't Suvorov exist? Might as well give Sakurako a snair drum, have her be Doblen 2.0 |

Saddle no. 6 emblem: dabrowski, poniatowski, lasalle, and murat are good options. I just got Lassale recently (bought him and Dobeln to restart ew4) and he is the least pain in the *Auto corrected* option, but also Dabrowski is a better investment due to more training stars. Ponitiawski is very strong but also expensive to build, but he is arguably the best of the lot |
