Hi, I am wondering how to increase the population score in conquests... It's especially annoying when you have to keep disbanding your troops ever round. Anyways... I couldn't find a surefire way to increase the population score thing so that you can have more units... Example, Russia 1812 starts with 172/160 on the population score, and I want to know how you can increase the population score so that I don't lose gold for exceeding the max. Thanks

Thanks I'm not sure, i tried finding ways of increasing population, such as capturing other capital cities and such, but i think the only way you can increase is based on the number of turns that has passed, or maybe the number of cities you have captured. Have to try it out to make sure. But one thing i'm sure is that the increase isn't that significant : around 8 population after around 60 turns.

While playing as Denmark 1798,150 is the max population, which i had around turn 39. After playing for a while, i realized that at turn 47, i have 154 max population. Interesting. This can either be because 40 turns have elapsed, so i was given an additional 4 population. But there are also other factors here. I held 2 enemy capitals, which are that of Britain and Austria. So i guess it's also possible that you get 2 population depending on the number of capitals you hold. The total number of enemy capitals i held was 3, which were Austria, Sweden and Britain. Thus it can be theorized that you get 2 population based on the number of 3 star enemy capital you control. As evidenced by turn 56, which i captured the capital of Russia which is St. Petersburg (also i captured Moscow) i got 156 population, which was previously 154 . So the only hypothesis i can give is that either you get 2 more population based on the enemy capitals you have by turn 40, or i was blind and didn't notice it was 152 turns by turn 39 ( which i held Austria's capital). The other possible scenario is that you get 4 population by turn 40, and get an additional 2 population every 10 turns or so(which i find unlikely, but still possible). This are the possible scenarios. There may be other factors which i missed of course.
