It's common knowledge that Verhuell is the undisputed best navy general. But the question of who the 2nd best navy general seems to be not so sure. Nelson, Sakurako and Victoria are what most people would argue to be the 2nd best navy general. So who truly deserves the title of the 2nd best navy general? I'd say nelson , but i'm not that sure either.

And Victoria doesn't even make the top cut, sad

And Victoria doesn't even make the top cut, sad Oh yeah forgot about her. Her damage is decent but she takes a lot of damage in return. Treville might be a better choice as he hits hard but also has escorting.

So overall, Nelson is the second best navy general. Sakurako is a close third.

Are you joking?Nelson all the way. Verhuell is weak right from start, unless you are judging on his potential, then expect to spend a bunch of medals and gold Even then Nelson is still so much better.

Don't doubt the power of Verhuell my dude. But yes, if it wasn't obvious, it's a joke. Falsen is the best, followed by Verhuell, then Nelson.

Nelson is damn expensive,we have Falson already, and he is good enough. What I have been seeing on the board, is the navy is not so important in this game anyway. So until I see different, will refrain from buying a another naval general Personally, I rather continue spending on upgrading Falson and naval technology and others.

Yeah, navy really isn't important, even for the hardest challenges, but they make it easier. Sakurako can be a good alternative for Nelson, since she can take a lot of hits, but doesn't hit as hard as Nelson.

My nelson is (was cuz I deleted my cloud save) maxed out and has both the compass and the telescope equipped. He is a complete beast.

Is the cost of buying/upgrading Nelson more medals than the cost of buying and upgrading Verhuell? Also... In preparation for the Crimean War challenge, I need a naval general so should I upgrade Falsen, or buy and then upgrade Nelson or Verhuell?

Despite us recommending Verhuell, i recommend against buying him, since he's power is to strong for us mortals to contain and control. Just go for Treville or Nelson. Sakurako is also a good choice, not as offensive as Nelson, but beats him in the defense department. She's also slightly cuter than Nelson, so there's also that. Jervis is also good.

I'll probably end up selling my Navy general BTW... But Treville and Nelson seem too EXPENSIVE. In fact, my 2000 medals would be better spent buying or upgrading my current generals or getting my dream team... But... I really need a navy general to complete the Crimean War challenges so... I might go for Sakurako... But Verhuell is so cheap (only 345 medals) and I don't think I will need to spend so many medals upgrading him... Maybe...

But yeah, it would be better if you buy other unit gens and upgrade their important skills first before going for a navy gen.
