Is there a way to predict the ammount of years ruled that a conquest is going to achieve? I saw in other post that there is the output formula according to which damage can be estimated, however I could not find a post where the equivalent would be shown for years ruled.
And a loosely related question: I have recently conquered America in 1812 playing as the British, intending to go for Lan. I finished as soon as turn 26, but my resources were not that many by that turn (6106, 2265, 9713), so I decided to wait until turn 31 where my resources are in the range where most people have been rewarded Lan (9764, 3605, 9660; I have Isabella whom I trained to be a 5 business star trader and at turn 31 I could rebalance the resources but the years ruled did not change). My rank is level 41 (18984) and my nobility is level 59 (158560), and I have achieved 166 campaign stars (finished both Coalition and French Eagle, just not seriously pushed through HRE campaign). However, I was disappointed when all I got was 400 years ruled for Asia, having tried both at turn 26, at subsequent turns and finally at turn 31 with extra resources (and 800 in America; it got me Kate and Sakurako which was nice but I was really going for Lan). Is this conquest to be scrapped? Why have I got as low as 400 years with my stats? Could I still wait to get more campaign progress and rank and try again with the save or do I have to try for an HRE 1798?
My gratitude in advance.

I think for every princess but Victoria, only the speed matters. I got her at 23 turns myself.

In that case it will probably be more benefitial to just do an HRE run to get Lan, and possiby Victoria. Besides, as they are the only princesses I have not unlocked I must consider that they can all be achieved through an European conquest but not through an American conquest, and I would need an HRE conquest for Victoria anyways.
Even so, I am quite surprised that just 3 turns makes for a 150 years ruled difference... it is a steep climb for that extra speed, but I hope I will manage. Still, with this I grow more curious as to how exactly years ruled get awarded.

Put a general on the siege artillery and haul *Auto corrected* to spain. Put your cavarly general on the tier one cav near vienna (ideally a 5 star trade) and make him push towards Istanbul.

I will try it later. I am currently using Sophia, Isabella, Dumouriez and Maria (I found it useful to have a backup infantry general for the campagins and did not want to spend medals which I needed for items). I have only upgraded Sophia to 3* artillery and Isabella to 5* business and artillery, plus bought a war horse. My plan was to buy the snare drums and some military tents and then try the HRE conquest, using Demouriez for the French front, Sophia for the Italian front and Isabela for the Ottoman front; the last time that I had tried the conquest (with Kutaisov, Graham and Gazan) I had managed to do it in 41 turns following kanue's guide and got all European princesses except Victoria. Instead I grew impatient and decided I would try the British conquest first to get Lan and then secure that needed speed for the French front and thus get Victoria (I would regroup Maria into Sophia or Isabella, get Lan and then regroup Demouriez into her, possibly train her further to 5* cavalry as well)... but then it did not work as intended and years ruled were too low. In the end my goal is the four princess lineup of Sophia, Isabella, Lan and Victoria.

I think that with sophia isabella and dumouriez you can definitely do britain 1812 fast enough for lan. Keep trying

There's nothing more infuriating than finishing a conquest at 32 turns, and your last save was at turn 5. Except of course having no saves.

The sad part is that I had made many saves, but decided to overwrite some for later saves. However, I thought that I had left a usable save in store, but found myself mistaken: there are many turn 25+ saves (I could finish on turn 26, and not really before that, so they are wasted) and a turn 6 save, so to achieve a better speed I would have to try nearly all over again. However, back to the other topic at hand, is there any formula that dictates how years ruled are awarded?

Some mad man probably has the exact mathematical formula, but realistically speaking, what matters is that you finish a conquest with high resources and low turn count. Some campaign progression is also needed, especially for the Asian princesses. All i could say is that focusing more on strategy and on finishing the conquests relatively quickly is more important than knowing the exact formula. Also, for the Americas, getting Lan is harder, since it takes less than 30 turns to do so. 31 turns is for the European conquests. Some estimate around 25 turns for Lan with high resources would be enough for the American conquests. I myself failed to get both Victoria and Lan, since i got frustrated at my last attempt a month ago, which i finished at 32 turns, with around 7000 gold and ok amount for the other resources. Pissed me off so much i temporarily quit and started playing EW6 instead.

Got her finally! The earliest save I had remaining of the British 1812 was on turn 125. After some testing, I discovered that if I was lucky with the damages my troops dealt then I would be able to finish the conquest by that turn. The first time I discovered this I scored 500 years ruled in Asia instead of 400. Having read from other posts that campaign stars greatly influenced years ruled, I decided to progress with HRE's campaign and try finishing the conquest anew every other mission. Once I had bumped up my progress from 166 to 226 medals it finally happened - Lan was unlocked from completing Britain 1812 in 25 turns, with resources 5250;2017;9562 and campaign stars/rank/nobility 226/42/59 respectively. Now HRE 1798 looks promising to complete the generals roster.

If there is knowledge of such a formula, it will help answer countless forum topics, and would have eased my anxiousness when I failed to get Lan.
