I'm a current Psych major and i am interested to know what type of music you guys listen to. I listen to predominantly metal ,orchestral and classical music, with some rap, hip hop,pop and country in the mix. Would be interesting to know what type of music strategic and tactical minds listen to, or at least those who play easytech games. im OBSESSED with anything from the 1930s to the 1960s, am interested in 70s to 90s as well. Anything from this century is literally trash to me(hope i dont shoot myself in the foot by associating with the very small camp of evergreen listeners

to aid in your psychology research, my reasoning is as follows: evergreen music is not jarring, has very few if not no pornographic, sexual references and no vulgarities at all, and back then without autotune people really knew how to use their voice to convey a lot.(hence my username) Genres: Country, Blues, Jazz, Disco, Pop, R&B, Rock and Roll. Examples: Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Artie Shaw(instrumental, real life professional squidward hahaha), Tommy Dorsey Glen Miller Benny Goodman and Harry James and their respective orchestras, The Chordettes, The Marvellettes, The Beatles, Paul Anka, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Bill Haley and his Comets, The Crickets, The Everly Brothers, The Carpenters, Michael Learns to Rock, Air Supply, aha, ABBA, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, The Ink Spots, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Frankie Laine, Little Anthony, The Monkees, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Doris Day, Ray Orbison, The Platters, The Andrews Sisters, The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, Cutting Crew, Al Martino, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, Perry Como, Vaughn Monroe, Bread, Bee Gees, Johnnie Ray, Bobby Darin, Pat Boone and sooooo many more

Deleted , lol I understand, no one in my community shares the same interest tbh, and the diss evergreen tunes get on youtube as compared to modern hits is really heartbreaking... Good music is good music regardless of genre. Also, modern hits are soulless, meant to be catchy rather than be powerful or beautiful. Best type of music for me is the music that can make you do something, or move your emotions. If the music makes you think, feel or act, then it's great. Music that makes you feel disgust is better than music that doesn't make you feel at all.

But all i can say is that the music taste here is diverse.

back in my law school days, i listened to way too many songs from the '70s. Now, Harvard has taught me that classical is best. I like classical.
