I'm not sure about that one, as I don't remember and I have uninstalled WC4 long ago This method can be easily tried out in a mod with unlimited medals. I'll test it and get back to ya'll soon And the result is?

Just tested the general thing. (I used cloud save, I swear i'm not a cheater). The general on the unit disappears when you dismiss them.

When you place the general down and dismiss him in the HQ, he disappears and your get back your general slot back I see, if you have a ton of medals to waste then you can possibly have unlimited generals for use (thats if you constantly dismiss low hp gens)

then not really unlimited then, but ye There is a glitch w generals I found on the Modern Day mod from the Turkish modder, there is an option w 16 generals or 18 I forgot but if you have the gen slots filled in the Academy and in a conquest you place every gen except the last one you will see no option to place a gen anymore, you leave and reenter the conquest you can place the last gen you put and the one that was left and you can do that infinite number of times

ye the skills are way overpowered, if you boost them with medals you get over 100% blitzkrieg etc Problem is getting resources for tech in this game since your allies are completely useless and you have to do everything yourself. Maybe there is an actual effective farming method, though I highly doubt it. By “effective” I mean that it’s fast and gives a good amount of resources to be worth doing again.

Cool I idea, last day I thought a similar thing like this. I thought, WHAT IF, I release a general from command, and but then will I still have him if he is placed on a troop? No, I tried this when I sold Runstedt for Graziani in an Italy conquest.
