Quick tip for PRC conquest 1960

While playing as PRC in 1960, I noticed a situation where you can easily get bogged down in. It occurs after you conquer Los Angeles and San Francisco, then advance toward New York and Washington. My suggestions for easily taking Washington is to upgrade to long range missiles, then using the missile launch pad in Los Angeles to strike Washington. I know it's a pain to gather the resources, but proves very helpful for the 1950s and 1960s eras.
