Being an adrenaline junkie and hiker, i pretty much enjoy the outdoors as much as i enjoy the indoors. One of the things that caught my attention tho was Missing 411, a collection of mysterious disappearances collected and documented by David Paulides. Basically, people disappear from national parks all the time. Some are discovered, some never discovered. Some who disappeared were confirmed abductions, animal attacks or evidence of falling and the body being washed away and disappearing. But some disappearances that occur are so mysterious and make no sense. Basically, there is no evidence of abductions, animal attacks, or falling. Basically they just disappear. Some who are found again have memory loss, and have no memory of what happened to them. Some have vivid memories of strange and weird things, such as seeing lights and/or strange creatures. I'd say the memories are most likely hallucinations, but still, the circumstances under their disappearances are strange. Sniffing dogs would mostly move to an area, sniff for a while, then just sit down. Some dogs even refuse to continue moving to an area where the missing guy is thought to have disappeared. Also, weather either gets really bad the moment someone disappears, or at rare cases really good. Some of those who go missing are with a group, and just disappear after their friends look away just for a few second. It can be just a series of events that are coincidental, but the chances of all these mysterious disappearances as simply coincidences is really low. Also, there are also disappearances that occur outside national parks that are also mysterious, such as cases of a boy just disappearing in front of his parents, then after a few days the grasses around where the boy disappeared would wilt and die. All i can say is that it's interesting stuff
