I myself can't make mods for some odd reason, so I post this up with intent to lay out a plan for the kind, able modders in this great board. I recently thought of forwarding two projects: "The States Of Risol" and a "Expanded Military" mod. "The States Of Risol" is based upon a civil war upon the former united states of Risol, a fictional country, which I haven't got around planning for yet. I want to lay out the plan for the "Expanded Infantry" mod, a small edit to the game that adds infantry units to the game.
Expanded Infantry mod (WC4):

New Abilities:
Terror - 50% chance to decrease the morale of the enemy upon attacking (image: SS logo)
Anti-Tank Gun - Damage to Armored Units +75% (image: a PaK 38 silhouette, facing 35 degrees clockwise from pointing its barrel directly at the viewer)
Satchel Charge - Damage to Stronghold Units +75% (image: a bundle of throwable explosives)
Blitzkrieg! - 70% chance of enemy unable to fight back; certain chance to attack again after defeating an enemy (image: a lightning bolt)
Decorated - 20% chance to level up upon attacking; restore health by 15 per turn (image: a knights cross of the iron cross with golden oak leaves, swords, and diamonds silhouette)
Sniper - Damage to Infantry Units +150% (image: the WC3 sniper ability image)
Invisible - Can only be attacked by land units directly nearby; cannot be attacked by airstrikes and missiles (image: the Company of Heroes Sniper "Invisibility" ability image but made grayscale)
Engineer - Units within 1 grid spot of this unit recovers 10 health per turn; does not stack [note: this applies to strongholds, navy, cities, infantry, artillery, etc] (image: a double-sided wrench)
Prideful - Damage to all units +100% when in own territory (image: a flag silhouette)
Yes, I understand that you could spam sappers to defend a city. That's why sappers have not much in offensive capabilities.
I'm just hoping for a modder to pick up this idea and develop the mod.
