Being a Chinese company, Easytech is no longer allowed to portray modern day China (post 1840, or so) In any of its games; so I think a traditional wc series game isn't very likely. It was awkward enough when they had to change alot of scenarios in wc4 to completely remove Any reference to China ( ie/ the korean war, the far eastern campaigns in ww2, and its absence in the modern war scenairios).
That said, a wc game that takes place pre - 1840s would be pretty cool in my opinion and it would still leave them with alot of material to work with.
