It was 476 AD. Emperor Romulus is not sure if his empire will last. It was not just Odoacer, who was causing our doom. The barbaric tribes like the Goths and Huns have weakened our country.
The fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 had started an era that lasted over a millennium, ending in 1492 (or 1453 for some people, this is just my opinion), the Middle Ages.
This is when many kingdoms, duchies, empires, counties, principalities, margraviates, viscountess, baronies, lordships, tribes, republics, theocracies, clans rose and fell.
There were three main periods in this era: The Early Middle Ages, 476-1000 AD. The High Middle Ages, 1000-1300 AD. The Late Middle Ages, 1300-1492.
From the reign of Justinian to Columbus' discoveries, this is definitely an era we shouldn't forget.
Here I'd like people to discuss these questions
What was your favorite period in this era?
If you could be anything, person or country, in this era, who/what would you be? (This can be in any continent, though I would prefer something in Europe/Middle East/Asia)
If you could get rid of one bad thing that happened in The Middle Ages and remove it from existence, what would you remove?
These are the questions I've come up with for now. You can talk about anything Middle Age related here, really. I just want to spark up a discussion here. Enjoy!
